Daniel Boydâs paintings, installations, moving image works and artist books are about a relationship to time and space. We created a sundial in regards to the concept of ânowâ.Â
With this sundial we have the ability to tell time or change time.
The problem with this design is that we did not realise what direction the sun moves. So the clock that we made was backwards.

I did some research on different types of waste after I, funnily enough, watched an episode of âWar on Wasteâ and admired how the relationship between colour created a really interesting overall image. I may not use these images as inspiration for my work but I would like to use them as a source of reference for how individual objects/ things can combine to create something that is organised or structured.

The following inductions are open to all Art & Design Students. We encourage you to sign up for any of these inductions, as they provide you with valuable new skills, refresher training and access to equipment and workshop areas at the Paddington Campus.
Places are limited and fill up quickly, so please ensure that when you have registered to attend an induction, you do show up. If you are no longer able to attend please cancel your registration or contact the relevant technical staff as outlined below.
Be prepared and arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and ensure you have the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) described on the Eventbrite registration page, including long pants, enclosed leather footwear.
