Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β SHAKE SHACK IN SEOUL KOREA
It was July 22, 2016 when the famous burger chain restaurant from New York opened in Gangnam. We all know how crazy it can be when a well-known restaurant opens its first store in a new country. Expect a long line. Of course, as a foodie I fell in line to try it for myself since Iβve been hearing and reading a lot of good things about shake shack.
Leo and I waited 2 days before going there hoping we could avoid the long lines. Surprise surprise, Β the lines were still long. :) I heard the lines werenβt as bad compared to the first day. Everyone looked so happy and excited at the same time even though there were long lines. I remember seeing a family pass by and wonder why there was such a long line outside the restaurant. Leo asked me if I was willing to wait, I responded happily with a quick βYESβ Β :) I decided to entertain us by messing around with my snap chat, we played while were in line. We were laughing, talking and having so much fun we didnβt notice it was already our turn to order. :) First thing I noticed when we entered shake shack was their large open kitchen were the hard-working staff was busy preparing/taking everyoneβs order. We ordered the Shack Burger, Cheese Fries, and The Shack Attack for dessert.Β
The burger was delicious, comparing it to the other burgers Iβve tried this was one of the best burgers for me. TheΒ Shack BurgerΒ hamburger patty was juicy and you could really taste the freshness of the burger and all the greens in it. TheΒ friesΒ were a big hit for me, the fries werenβt too salty and very crispy and crinkle cut with cheese on top. It was perfect for my taste. For dessert we shared theΒ Shack AttackΒ according to Β https://www.shakeshack.com/food-and-drink/Β Shack Attack is aΒ Chocolate custard w/ fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough and Mast Brothers Shake Shack dark chocolate chunks, topped with chocolate sprinkles. That really hit the spot, as a fan of sweets I think I found my new favorite dessert. I canβt wait to go back and try their other burgers and desserts. Everything was delicious and worth it!
