It was a bit chilly tonight. It was nice. Brisk. Fresh... Magical. Marcus liked Summer, it was a good break from all the hectic bullshit in his life. Summer made him feel like anything could happen and would; unfortunately, it was rarely the case, but he still liked to pretend.
He looked up at the deep, blue, sparkling sky then closed his eyes and took a deep breath, letting in the fresh ocean air. When he lowered his head and opened his eyes there was a woman in a black and white bikini with a tray full of cocktails standing eagerly before him. He stumbled back in surprise. "Uh... Hi, sorry, you startled me," he said nervously. She smiled and shook her head, "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, would you like a cocktail?"
"Huh? Uh, oh, okay, sure." Marcus said smiling politely and taking one of the drinks, "Thanks."
"No problem at all!" She exclaimed and went along to serve drinks to other people.
Marcus looked down at his drink and swished it around a couple times in his glass. It looked... interesting, very red... almost too red... he wondered what made it look so unnatural. But he shrugged it off, after all, everyone was drinking them as he could see when he looked around. He took a swig of the drink.
It was really good! There was a kind of funky aftertaste, but whatever right? He already knew he'd want another one so he downed the rest of his current drink and went off to find more.
He had already been drinking for a while and now found himself tripping all over the place to get more of those cocktails. As the fireworks went off he jumped and fell in the sand. He sat there and laughed for a while at himself before getting up and attempting to pull himself together. The morning hangover was going to be spectacular...

"Can I help you?" Wren questioned at the creaking sound of the garage door being pushed open, and let go of the push up bar installed in the ceiling of the workshop.Ā
"My car broke down right in front of your shop, I really have the strangest, most demented sense of luck." Marcus sighed, "I guess I should have seen it coming... the engine's been making this weird clicking sound for about a month now."

The fae gave a small smile at his words, looking down with a nod before gazing back up at the stranger, hand outstretched to the spot beside her, hoping she hadnt taken the manās spot. Ā Her brown eyes studied his face before turning to the nature before them. Ā The weather was stunning, with the warm sun beaming down and a slight breeze. Ā Ana still clung to the cuff of her shirt, turning to the man. Ā āAre you from around here then?ā

Anastasia sat frozen as the stranger had approached her, not quite sure what to do but watch. Ā The fae toyed with the hem of her shirt, gripping the edges firmly as she swallowed. Ā āC-can I help you?ā Ā Her light voice pondered, becoming slightly aware of how nervous she appeared to be. Ā
Withdrew from second semester of College Junior Year in Psychology [2013/2014]
Will complete his College Junior Year in the fall of 2014
Q: What was your opinion on the teachers this year?
A: In college I've found there tend to be two kinds of professors, the ones that clearly love the subject they teach and the ones that clearly are thinking of a thousand better things they could be doing instead of lecturing. Some professors, after all, are only hired because they've had experience in their field of teaching, but this doesn't necessarily mean they're good teachers. But I will say that while there are many disappointments when it comes to professors, I have found many that have been truly inspirational. Those inspiring professors are what keep me going, they give me some hope in the educational system we have here in America.
Q: And how about the structures? What do you like about your school's buildings? What do you think could be improved? Are the current buildings sufficient or do you think some renovations are needed?
A: Honestly? I could care less about the buildings. Sure it's nice to have good architecture and rooms that don't make you feel like you're in the sanitarium rather than the school, but I really think the school should be putting more of it's money into employing teachers and staff that will give the student's their money's worth out of their education. The buildings are functional and, though they could be better, I personally don't think it's worth it to fix what isn't really broken.
Q: What about your classes? Are the themes being taught relevant to the class? And are they being well addressed? Any suggestions of new and/or more interactive approaches? Would you wish to have any optional class that you arenāt taking?
There's a reason I'm majoring in psychology. Well there are several reason but let's not go into all of those. One of the big reasons, however is because of the professors and the way the subject is taught at our school. It's one of the most fascinating subjects provided. Stats can get a little tedious though, it's not that it's a difficult class it's just kind of boring and meticulous. I kind of wish I could take some kind of philosophy class though, I hear those are pretty mind-blowing too.
Q: Many students seem to prefer to eat outside the school buildings than in the school cafeteria. Why you think that is? Whatās your honest opinion about the food that is available to students? Does it have to do with the price or something else?
A: *laughing* Well let's just say the cafeteria food isn't exactly the finest quality... First of all, it's not even healthy and it certainly doesn't taste like much more than cardboard and upchuck so... Okay, look at it this way, the students don't really give a crap about their health, but if they're going to destroy their digestive system they're going to at least do it with food they actually enjoy putting into their bodies, right? That's why most of us don't eat in the cafeteria... 'cus there's not really an upside to it. Plus the price is way too high for the food provided.
Q: Final question. Let's talk about you. How do you feel about the way your school year has turned out?
A: Eh... I'm kind of disappointed about it because my uncle dragged me out of school mid-year so I had to drop my second semester and... I don't know I guess I'm just not thrilled that I won't be finishing Senior year with my sister and my friends and instead I'll have to complete my Junior year in the fall semester this upcoming year. But it's not that big of a deal... I doubt I would have done it any differently if I could do it all over again.
