Simon can't help but be a little enamoured with the new human in his island, even if he wanted Grace gone at first. Ryland is flustered. I present to you what I've been calling in my head the Wild Fish!AU, a story where Simon is a mutated merman living in exile on a rather peculiar island, and Grace is the microbiologist sent there to examine why the fish are mutating and, hopefully, find a cure before the Earth's ecosystem is irreparably changed. This is part of a bigger project I'm working on, so I'll be posting little sketches and comics until I have a demo.
