This is for the 60 (soon to be 63) @teganandsara shows I've been to in 11 countries over the past 13 years. ---- This is for the 27 shows on the original The Con tour and the 7 shows on #TheConXTour. ---- This is for 18 year old me who travelled to shows in Canada and Europe on her own but made dozens of friends along the way (who I still tour with now and who came to our wedding). ---- This is for 14 year old me who always knew she wanted a Tegan and Sara tattoo. ---- This is for all the memories and stories that I'll be telling my grandkids. ---- This is because it's beautiful album artwork and the first thing I saw at most of the shows when I ran to the barrier after a day of queueing. ---- This is because I'm an adult and I get to do whatever the hell I want with my life, even if it seems weird or stupid to most people. ---- This is for the closing of a chapter in my life. Yesterday we obvs made a trip to @wearewildfang. Within 5 mins of getting there they told us we had to leave as there was a private event happening.
