This story has taken over 2 years to write. It’s seen me through some of the worst depression and lowest points of my adult life. It’s the story I was struggling to piece together when I lost Moody. It’s the story I was trying to find solace in when my country went to the dogs. It’s been both a sinking ship and a grounding anchor, and it’s DONE, and I can’t tell if I like it or not, but I think the story I was trying to tell - about sisterhood and friendships, trust and love, fathers and daughters, safety and health- has been told. I’d love to go back one day and tweak this into something more palatable, but for now I’m going to settle for closing the chapter on this. I’m looking forward to different projects, including some original stuff and some modern stuff, and I’m looking forward to continuing to be a part of this online space that I love *so* much.
