Hamas is still holding the bodies of 13 hostages, including 2 Americans.

They were all supposed to be returned to Israel by October 13 at noon.

Israel knows Hamas can easily give back at least most of them.

The IDF and Shin Bet confirm that troops operating in southern Gaza's Rafah recovered findings belonging to murdered hostage Manny Godard, who was killed and abducted by Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists on  October 7, 2023.

Last week, troops had searched an Islamic Jihad military post in Rafah, as part of efforts by the IDF and Shin Bet to locate Godard's body. 

The findings found at the post were taken to Israel and identified by the Abu Kabir forensic institute as belonging to Godard's body. His family was then updated on the developments, the military says.

The Haifa bus 37 suicide bombing was a Palestinian suicide bombing that occurred on 5 March 2003 on an Egged bus in Haifa, Israel. Seventeen passengers were killed in the attack and fifty-three were injured. Many of the victims were university students from nearby Haifa University. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. The bomber was 20-year-old Mahmoud Umdan Salim Qawasmeh, a student at the Palestine Polytechnic University. An Israeli Arab resident of Haifa, who assisted in planning the attack, was also tried and sentenced to life imprisonment for his involvement.
