kinda weird how the summerlands have two major kingdoms. like, are the northern and southern summerlands two different countries? so ding dong dell is the capital of the northern and al mamoon the southern?

there HAD to have been conflict over this, right? there are cliffs separating them, sure, but those cliffs are technically on the southern summerlands side. did they have to fight for that? i doubt the summerlands were ALWAYS split into northern and southern. we don’t know whether ding dong dell or al mamoon came first, but like… when one of them got too big they were probably like “y’know what? let’s split away from the the other guys as a whole”

do you think there’s an ongoing thing about the genie’s steps? solomon sitting in the temple of trials hearing war cries and going “umbopa they’re at it a-fucking-gain”. ding dong dell and al mamoon don’t physically fight over it anymore but now and again king tom and the cowlipha will be having a political argument and the cowlipha will go “yeah well who has the genies steps, pissy cat?” and king tom will have to take a minute
