This is like my version of phanart. I love Dan’s style, and I’m passionate about reducing textile waste by shopping secondhand and making my own clothing. This set is made from a thrifted men’s shirt. It’s not perfect, but I feel very cute in it and I’m excited to wear it this summer!

at the end of it, you might change nothing. but I think this is worth doing, because sometimes you'll find that the reason you didn't want your character to have a limp, or lose a limb or sense, or have some kind of SFF-appropriate fantasy disability is because of internalised biases. those are worth challenging & i truly believe that creators miss out on richer stories when they view disability either as a fate worse than death or as nothing more than a catalyst for tragedy.

There is a very real, very magic door in the apartment now, and Chestnut loves the regular front door enough as it is. I dont even think its intentional on their part but gillion and chip straight up cutting jays leg off (and framing it as a bit and not somrthing that is so devastating and terrifying to jay) and then not comforting her, basically paying her no mind, while they try to find something for gillions missing hand and just. Leave Jay on the ground. Stunned and in overwhelming pain. Ignoring her to find something for the guy who is in no immediate danger of bleeding out or dying from shock. Leaving the one other female character to comfort her. When the misogyny seeps through the cracks of everything....
