I’ve mentioned how I think Shu would like transcendentalism here: to elaborate slightly, transcendentalism is very much about being in tune with yourself and nature, transcending above the shackles of society, and I think Shu would appreciate that as an artist. The value that he places on beauty and creation and opening your eyes to the world and stuff.

Anyways . Walt Whitman is a famous writer from the transcendentalist movement. And he was well known for writing things that were controversial at the time. One of which was homosexuality
