They should turn all of lumiose into a wild zone, it’s the best solution for everyone.
im gonna assume this is trying to like bait me but im gonna take the bait anyways because i wanna talk about this and i know there are people who do think that is the best solution
the short answer is: no, because this would end with many dead pokemon and people
the long answer is: a lot of pokemon are not suited for city life, especially wild pokemon that have no trainer or person looking after them
a wild pokemon absolutely can be assimilated to living in the city, we see it all the time, but that is because they have a personal trainer guiding them and helping them through it, they are getting one on one interaction constantly to help them grow accustomed to not having to search for their own food or protect themselves from predators
wild trubbish can survive perfectly fine in the city because that is what they have adapted to do, many bird pokemon can survive with success because there are things to perch on and bug pokemon to hunt a plenty, feral populations of catmons and dogmons are also successful typically because there are people around who feed and take care of them
but there are many pokemon that have come to our city that will die if they are allowed to completely roam, and they will end up killing people too
the lights, noises, smells, vehicles, events, etc will agitate them and frighten them and anger them
and many pokemon that have found themselves here, that are now living in the wilds zones, are pokemon that are not native to this area and therefore will not have the space they need even if the entire city became a wild zone and then that leads to territory disputes
abomasnow, aavalugg, gyarados, houndoom, pyroar, etc etc wild pokemon that should be out in the wilderness, they arent built to live in a city without any trainer guiding them
many of these wild pokemon shouldnt be here if they have no trainer
and that is to not even talk about the alpha pokemon
sometimes, the best way to live alongside pokemon is to know when to keep your distance
