On August 30, the Saskatchewan government announced the launch of two new Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) pathways for newcomers working in agriculture and health care under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
"New provincial immigration pathways and streamlining our credential recognition process will help employers in Saskatchewan acquire the workforce needed to grow their businesses," He stated, referring to the widespread reports of a labor shortage.

-> Attest to their intention to work and live in Saskatchewan, the Health Talent Pathway seeks to support the province's Health Human Resources (HHR) action plan.

Who is qualified for new PNP Pathways?
Talent Stream: Agriculture
Applicants for this stream must fulfill the following minimum requirements for eligibility: For instance, the necessity of:
Maintain a minimum of a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 language score. Some businesses or regulators can request scores higher than CLB 4.
Own a higher education degree or have finished secondary school, or high school.
Possess six months (780 hours) of full-time (30+ hours per week) work experience in the position with the employer who has given the candidate a job approval letter, or at least one year of full-time work experience in the previous three years (in their planned occupation). In either scenario, the work experience does not have to be consecutive
Attest to their intent to work and reside in Saskatchewan.
Obtain an offer for a full-time, permanent position in Saskatchewan's agricultural industry.
For candidates to provide proof of work, a valid SINP Job Approval Letter is required. This is provided to them by their employer, who to get it must register with the SINP.
Talent Stream: Health
Depending on whether the individual has an application in the federal Express Entry application pool, different requirements apply for this option. Certain conditions apply to both subcategories.
Being qualified to obtain a license in Saskatchewan
Possessing post-secondary education relevant to the job offer (such as a bachelor's or master's degree, a three-year degree from a university or college, or a diploma requiring two years of study at a trade or technical school)
Certifying that they want to live and work in Saskatchewan
