This is my own opinion on the situation and what I’ve noticed within the community that I’d like to address. I promise I will try to limit posts like these as they do get mentally draining for myself included. But it has been bothering me a lot and I feel like not saying anything will make this feeling worse.

While I still stand by what I said about handling what’s been going on between Ren and Zeal, and how we shouldn’t relate this to Pressure or Roblox at all and how it shouldn’t be classified as just “drama”. A lot has happened since then that made me reflect on my own statement of it all.

For those who are unaware and from what I learned Zeal released a document that debunked some of the claims Ren made against him that includes screenshots of their conversations and her behavior. Ever since she has stated she would make a follow-up document in response that would show more evidence against Zeal and back up her narrative+ show more sides from other victims of Zeal. Since then there have been no updates or progress reports on her side and was only revealed recently that the revised document would not going to be worked on.

Now I will admit, I stopped following this drama after my initial response to all of the information received last time. I made my own conclusions after doing my own research that led to me coming to the conclusion that Ren was 100% innocent along with me looking at all of Zeal’s information and video on the topic as well. It was only after seeing multiple perspectives covering this information that I now change my stance on the matter based on what I’ve been shown.

This is to say: Both sides have testimonies that share their own recollection of that night and both have evidence that debunks both their claims. It’s just that now there’s multiple pieces that show Ren’s inconsistencies in her own narrative along with her most recent behavior and dms that show her heavily contradicting her own statement. I’m not saying Ren isn’t a victim, I am not saying that at all if it’s the case that she actually is. But I’m saying that now that there is evidence against her claims and her contradicting herself via her own messages and behavior and to take what she said prior to this with a grain of salt.

Speaking of Zeal, guilty or not his attempt on his own life should NOT be taken as a joke. This was a serious matter and making something like that into blatant harassment and mockery is strictly a no go. It’s frankly astonishing and disturbing to me that people would go as far as to make memes about it.

With that being said this will be my last stance on the matter, I do not want to talk about this any more than I have. I am only saying this now because I feel like if I had just deleted the original post or ignored it while more new information keeps coming, then I’d just leave a bad feeling in my gut leaving it unaddressed.

This bad feeling don't go away. I can't bring myself to play Roblox because the feeling is so bad. I can't even eat, I hyperventilate still. I can get reassured. I'm tired. This feeling isn't gonna go away until something good happens, until I see my other fav Roblox artists post Roblox (she hasn't in a few days) and idk how to feel. I'm just tired. I hate this feeling. I don't know what to do with fandoms. I swear Roblox isn't a fully predatory platform, it's AI just sucks.

It's that aching feeling in my chest, the kinda aching that puts a lump in your throat, the kind of ache that is only relieved when I have to check YouTube, Tumblr, and twitter. It only gets worse when I ignore it. Idk what to do. Idk what I can do. Do I make my Roblox world building a show? A game? Or just ocify it all and abandon a 20 year old community. I can't fucking do this. These posts always dlop because nobody truly cares about my mental state, I'm speaking into a void rn. I don't wanna swim this vacation, I don't wanna do shit. Just stay here, feeling that tiresome dread. I'm tired of it. I hate this feeling yet theres no way to stop it. I'm so fucking done dude. Wtf is wrong with me.

Why can't I mind my own business and just enjoy Roblox? Who cares if it's a shitty platform owned by a shitty corporation... The priblem is that if I make it a Roblox game, Roblox's reputation is so ass rn I barley think I could get people. And if I make it a show, it's gonna be associated with the platform anyway. I love 1x1x1x1, I can't ocify have him, it won't feel the same. I could make a Roblox game outside of Roblox but wtf will that do. I have no other fandoms, no games, no communities, no games that allow you to cosplay just as good as Roblox did. Why does everything have to suck, why can't I just fucking draw Roblox stuff and not immediately feel shame, guilt, and fear. Why can't I just want enjoy my vacation. Why can't I just look at Roblox and not fear, and feel happy and fluffy and normal. why is this so painful??? Why can't I just mind my own business and not have negative thoughts do this you me??? Why can't I just feel happy with the community I have but I can't because slop drama YouTubers and fucking so many videos about Roblox drama and now it's all associated with bad people and I can't fucking enjoy it anymore. I fucking hate this, I can't fucking enjoy shit anymore. Nothing will feel the same, Andi have no IRL friends that will take me seriously, and the ones that do can't even comfort people.

I’m sorry you’re going through this on your vacation. Yeah everything on the Roblox platform sucks, it really does. But as someone else in the community I think it’s okay to just make what brings you joy.

That’s probably an outdated and overused statement but it’s the truth honestly.

I’ve had multiple episodes in the past for any fandom I’m in regarding to any drama or anything problematic that comes up and yeah it can bring down your spirits A LOT. I almost gave up my own AU project that has been in the works for MONTHS before even making anything much of it because of that feeling.

What got me through it was my friends reminding me that if what I make brings me joy, or if what media I consume (as long as it’s not problematic material in itself) makes me happy. Then that’s okay.

It’s okay to play Roblox. There’s still plenty of amazing Dev teams and games out there that while it may take a moment to search for, can bring you immense joy and seeing who they are as people for both their own communities and teams within the Roblox community is a breath of fresh air. The amount of talented creators who still pursue their passions and projects despite every single bad thing popping up left and right yet still choosing to just make what makes themselves and by extension others happy? That’s what brings me joy too. Making friends with some of these amazing people because of this community is also something I never thought I’d get the chance to do, and probably never would’ve if I had just kept the mentality of immediately giving up.
