I spent a few hours last night trying to make the texture of hair I needed for cupcake toppers. All the time I had the perfect tool on my counter...and I was using it to roll fondant! Just needed to change the attachment. This pasta roller set has saved me so much time, wrist pain and frustration. Thanks Mom, best gift EVER! (Seriously, I was screaming like I'd won the lottery when I opened this at Christmas!) Switched the attachment and I had hair in a few seconds. Just had to curl it up and let it dry. #Chocolate #cupcakes made for a friend's #birthday. (Hey girl hey!) #Vanilla #buttercream on half and #caramel buttercream with a caramel drizzle on the other half. That frosting was uh-mazing!!!

When I have leftover cake mix, I bake a single layer and freeze it. On a whim, I put this cake together using leftover cake and it tasted great! This was my brother's slice and he couldn't eat it until i got a picture of it (sorry but not sorry!). Bottom layer: Vanilla cake tinted pink. Top: peanut butter cake. Peanut butter filling. Frosted with chocolate buttercream. Chocolate and peanut butter are always an awesome combo!

I had a cooking show playing in the background the other night and just as I was about to turn it off, they mentioned reducing #pomegranate juice to add to something they were making. My first thought was "I can add that to #buttercream!" Yall, I picked some up and let me tell you, this frosting is soooooo good! Kinda tart, kinda sweet. Chocolate #cupcakes. Top: #pomegranate #buttercream. Middle: #peanutbutter buttercream. Bottom: #chocolate buttercream.

Every year without fail (since I've been #baking), my nephew disappoints me. Every. Year. He asks for the #Alabama #football logo on his #birthday #cake. The cake itself changes but the logo keeps showing up. Sigh. Because I love him, I make it. This year he'll ask for an #Auburn cake. I just know it!

My brother asked for a #mikewolowski cake for Christmas and it resulted in my first #buttercream transfer. #behindonpostingpictures #dontjudgeme
