Luke L. Wilson here. I cannot believe I have never found that post before about trans guy Scar and trans girl Grian. As somebody who is the biggest trans girl Grian fan that has ever existed, I am trying so hard to force it into the scarian story I am writing, but I am afraid of the masses. RPF trans girl Grian is something I fear nobody will be able to stop me if I begin talking about it.
Do not fret, however, as pre-surgery trans man Scar is explicitly canon and I mention it every time I have the chance. Too many people are too afraid of how amazing it would be. (Maybe too much, but I get a bit annoyed at all the nsfw trans guy Grian and cis Scar fics compared to the better opposite dynamic, though it would make me a hypocrite, for I have written said dynamic before...)

And a scarian story, you say? You always love to tease me, but I would die to read a story with trans girl Grian, especially if scarian. I feel like she is criminally underutilized in this fandom. People need to branch out with their headcanons and explore more options! There is so much that can be done.

(Touching on the subject of NSFW, I understand what you are saying. I don't have a problem per se with trans guy Grian; he is popular, and it's clear that many are attached to this headcanon. However, as a Scar main, it's a little depressing browsing AO3 knowing my options are far more limited. Just compare the number of fanfictions under the tag for trans male character based on who you want to be the trans one. Also, a lot of Scarian fanfictions are becoming a little too repetitive with the same dynamic.)
But I continue to do my part and spread my agenda, I'm happy to provide.
