Midorima, no matter how many times people complained about it, he would never stop following horoscope fortunes. After all, only the most diligent people can be rewarded by God.

"What, is that not a fitting name? He is a replacement, after all... Kerotaro..? Hey, what's a fitting name for it?"

Midorima pays a fortune every year to keep up with his lifestyle of buying lucky items every day. That is why for matters other than lucky items, he is rather frugal. Every cent counts, after all. Thankfully, his parents were sending him allowance and lucky item money every month. If he wasn't working hard in his studies, he would've probably stopped diligently following Oha Asa.

"A 1-on-1? Interesting. Well, that can wait. I need to buy Kerosuke 2."

Kise found himself standing near the entrance awkwardly as Midorima browsed the stationery shop for something. There was the fact that they’re two high school boys loitering on an unknown territory known as the place where girls frequent, and there’s also the reason that Kise didn’t have anything to buy inside in the first place. But Midorimacchi just strolled inside like he owned the shop, and Kise didn’t know what he should think of that.

True to his (sometimes) unpredictable nature, it was quite a surprise when Midorimacchi gave him his lucky item for the day. Not that he would have any use for it, given that the design of the wristband doesn’t appeal to his tastes. However, it was something of sentimental value, and so he accepts it gladly.

“Thank you Midorimacchi~" He chirped and discretely pocketed the wristband instead of wearing it. "I’ll treasure it. Is this something like a token of our friendship?”

Two fully grown high school boys in a girly arts and crafts store was perfectly normal. Midorima even recognised the old lady who owned the store, and greeted her in a formal manner. He couldn't even count the times he has been in this store. 

Noticing that the lucky item he passed his ex-team mate, he was prepared to shut the model up if he whined about it. However, Kise was actually glad that he passed this sissy shit item to him. Classic Kise. Unpredictable as always. The design was cute, at least. Of course, the bespectacled male would never admit that in front of the other basketball player.

"Friendship? Ah, like that one wristband Kuroko has. Well, if you want to interpret it that way, be my guest."

The shooter's eyes widened in shock when the model put the wristband in his pocket. Before the blonde strolled out the store, Midorima stopped him.

"W-W-Wait a second there, Kise! I haven't paid for that yet!"

That was until a familiar green blur passed by her. Talk about fate and stars!

“M-Midorima…!” Realized that he probably ignored her, what an asshole, Taiga acted impulsively and threw whatever she was holding in her hands in his direction; and that happen to be a basketball. She launched the ball in his direction – as it hit. Taiga cringed at the sound of the breaking glass, but a smirk blossomed upon her face. That’d teach the loser to ignore her.

"What do you want?" wow really what an ass. oha asa more like oha ass. 

Out of a sudden, a basketball was sent flying and it hit the bespectacled male square on the nose. Figures. No matter how good his horoscope ranking was, the girl would find a way to humiliate him. While the male was rubbing his nose and grimacing slightly, his lips curled into a frown when he saw the smile on her face.

"Dumb!? How dare you! And I thought you were a worthy opponent. This frog statue is a precious gift from the gods. And I totally did not buy it from some hobby store! Fate has brought me to obtain this. Only the most diligent Oha Asa viewers can succeed in life."

It was more like ‘hunting’ for Kise. The things that find itself on Midorimacchi’s hands sometimes doesn’t even look like it’s available for purchase on shops.

He released a sigh which meant that he was giving in to the shooter’s wishes. “Fine, have you found a store you’d like to shop in? Or are we still going to find a hobby store… or something, in the middle of this big city?”

"Well, I need to get a yellow letter. Also, according to my calculations of all the previous Oha Asa lucky items, tomorrow's lucky item will be a hand puppet."

Casually staring momentarily at the model's hair once again, he walked towards a store that seemed to be aimed towards girls that liked art and crafts. Strolling into the store, he found a cute hand puppet of a prince and then passed a green wristband with flowers on it to the male.

"Here, your lucky item."

Cue a sharp and rather loud yelp escaping the blond young man.

“E-eh? Why are you looking at my hair like that Midorimacchi?" He asked, feeling a bit awkward and suddenly fearful for his dear hair’s life.

The green-haired male proceeded to yank on the model's hair.
