Hi!!!! I'm doing well thank you lovely nonnie!!! I'm so sorry that I've taken forever with the second part of that fic, I was so happy to see how much people liked it, started writing the second part, got mentally stuck with the story going forward and going "oh! I'll do this, I'll do that!" even though I had only written like 4 paragraphs of the second chapter and then my motivation disappeared and work got insanely busy since it was the Christmas season and I work retail and I help train the seasonal workers during that time too.

And then heated rivalry came into my life and hollanov kinda took over my brain (I'm thinking about them rn lmao)

But alas!!!! Since I saw this message (also sorry for taking 2 weeks to respond, I'm a little lazy 😭) I've been thinking about that fic again and I'll definitely be continuing (that was always the plan but again.....my motivation died off 😭) it'll be out eventually, I have some time off work coming up so I I'll dust off the cob webs covering that fic and have a look.

And so Ilya wakes up one morning to Shane already in the garden but there's also someone out there with him showing how Shane and Ilya can best utilise the space they have and all the best soil and seeds their money can buy and how to garden during winter and look after the plants.

And Ilya is just so happy to see Shane happy about something other than hockey because Shane was worried that there would be nothing of him to really do after retirement and that all he'd be good at was hockey but Shane realises that he can be good at other things and Ilya loves seeing Shane in his gardening attire with the gloves that have a matching print on the hat he always wears when he's outside.
