âWell I know you didnât come to see me. So I figured you werenât interested in the pleasantries. But hello, how are you? When did you get back in town?â She smirked, glancing back over her shoulder at him as she sat on the edge of her bed and pulled a box out from under it. âIâll see what I can doâ she hummed. âDefinitely have xanaxâŚ.â She murmured to herself pulling a small bag out. âahaâŚthis one is the luminal under a different name, easier to get that wayâ She nodded as she pulled a few of each type out. âIâve got all sorts of other shit tooâŚmolly, weed..the usual'sâÂ
"Hey, Iâm doing great,â he replied, obviously still giving her shit. âI donât know, three...four days? Timeâs a bitch, you know. Canât really keep up with it anymore.â He was half joking. The trip to Atlanta had been fairly long, Manny sleeping through much of it and spending most of his first day knocking on doors and dialing the few numbers he had for Atlanta folks in his phone. âIâll take them.â There was no hesitation, leaving Manny to wonder how desperate he looked. âI mean, the xanax...the luminal. I need the luminal.â His lips pursed and he pulled out his wallet, cash jutting out from the tips heâd earned at open mic the night before. âYou uh, wouldnât happen to know anyone thatâs hiring, would you? Aroma Mocha looking for any entertainment anytime soon?â
