Seojin (Seokju x Ijin) Headcannons!!
These are really random as I'm just throwing down ones I've been thinking of for a while lmao
Out of the both of them, Seokju is 10 times better with animals in my opinion. I think Ijin would be uncomfortable around a lot of animals actually honestly. Seokju is a big softy for animals tho in my heart
Its a pretty popular opinions/ like fanfic trope among any ships with Ijin that there would be gay-ass fights, and as fun as the idea is (hell, I've drawn in lmao) I actually don't think Ijin would fight the people he views romantically- just like how he prefers not to fight the people he views as family
Sparring is different tho- see the vision, Ijin and Seokju are sparring and Seokju in his insecure mind starts actually to fight Ijin real time because he feels that he needs to prove himself and Ijin shuts that shit down real fast then BOOM MEGA SEOJIN ANGST cause Seokju is insecure as hell and I will make his insecurity a genuine flaw
Again very popular headcannon just in general and its loosely based in canon but I think Ijin is like the baker and the chef in the relationship. Drinking only energy drinks all day? Hell nah man we have the funds for food and we will eat good food (think like senshi from dungeon meshi)
Ijin has a very slow heart rate ( 40-50bpm resting), while Seokju has a higher than average one ( 100-110 bpm) cause of his anxiety and his caffine intake
Ijin realizing he has a lot of time on his hands just starts doing random side quests ( not like the ones in the story lmao) where he starts acquiring random ass things- many of which turns into future mini gifts for seokju
on that same note i think Ijin would become a big geocatching guy ( idk if that exists in korea)
Seokju is one of those nerds that has like a huge notetaking thing on his computer and theres one just dedicated to Ijin. It originally started as a "oh hes suspicious keep tabs" to "omg i have a big fat crush on this dude i NEED to write everything down"
Because in that same breathe I think seokju is into online journaling
Anytime Ijin is feeling down he tends to like deflate ( this is canon) so seokju likes to drive him around just on a chill night drive
When seokju is feeling down best believe ijin is taking him on a walk for some fresh air or some "sparring" (or kissing depends in the circumstance) to help
I actually dont think they confess, I think its just sort of a slow blurring of friendship or something more until they cross into boyfriends territory
I dont think Ijin really cares until dayeon teases him about having a boyfriend and grandpa accepting them where hes like "Ohhh wait yeah that makes sense, were boyfriends" and then he moves on thinking him and seokju are on the same page
they are not on the same page- seokju is PANICKING, cause what are they? should he bring it up? will it ruin their friendship? to the point he starts tracking their interactions on the ijin notetaking page calender.
then Seokju finally builds the courage to ask and Ijin is just like "yes? we were this whole time???" and yeah , tada
