“As if I would have said no. You could have proposed in bed or in the middle of one of my labors and I would still have given you the same answer.” She giggled. “Of course baby. I’ll do anything you want.” Jazmine walked to her office and got her laptop. “Start making our channel. We should have suggestions by now.”

“The first video we should do is how you proposed. People have been asking for it for over a year.” She rested against him, getting out her phone. Posting “David and I are starting a couple channel and we need name suggestions.” She nodded. “i guess.”

She smiled. Her motivation for YouTube gaining traction. ”And I can document this pregnancy.” Jaz touched his face. “Baby, slow down. I don’t want you to overwork yourself.” The brunette loved how passionate he was, “What should we call it?” Jazmine shrugged. “Probably 3 or 4 months.” 

Jazmine felt all the tension leave her body. “I think I’m just going to stop. It’s more your thing then mine. Maybe make a couple or family channel instead so you can think of all the ideas and I can just look pretty because I feel bad always asking for help when you have your own channel on top of twitch.” She immediately stopped her nervous tick. “Never again.” Jaz promised. “Your baby and I love you too.”

“I hate that I did this to us baby.” She sighed. “When I saw your reaction, how happy you were I knew I couldn’t let it go on any further.” Jaz sat down on the bed. “And now what should be a happy moment is all fucked up because I was running out of video ideas.” The brunette was twisting her ring like she always did when she was upset.

“I didn’t know what to think David. You have not spoken to me all night.” She sighed but followed him anyway. “Yes. I had it in my pocket but I never looked at the results. I assumed it was gonna be negative because I don’t have any symptoms I did with the boys.” She smiled softly. “I wanted to tell you as soon as I saw it but after my stupid mistake I knew you might not believe me.”

“I was thinking about sleeping in the guest room or Franny’s.” She could not even look him in the eye. This was her best friend, the father of her kids and the man she was going to marry someday. “I know we do.” Jazmine wanted to get this whole thing over with, rip the bandaid off so to speak 

Jazmine sighed as she pulled herself together. She had to say goodnight to her boys. She walked into her oldest son’s room first, kissing him on the head. “Goodnight mijo.” The boy stopped her. “Mama is everything okay. Papi seemed sad.” “Everything is fine baby.” She didn’t know if she was trying to convince him or herself. “I love you.” Jaz turned off the light and closed the door, doing the same with Maddox before going to their room. She didn’t want to walk into the room.

Jazmine was mostly silent as she watched David interact with the boys. She decided to do some chores to keep her mind off of everything but soon that wasn’t enough and she broke down again. “I’m so sorry baby. Mommy really messed up this time.” She placed a hand on her stomach, noticing a slight curve to it for the first time.

Jazmine did not know how long she was sitting there. Honestly it felt like hours. Twisting her ring, she remembered the test in her pocket. She pulled it out to throw it away when something caught her eye. It was a plus sign. The girl was actually pregnant. Her first thought was to run and tell David but she sighed. “He’ll probably think it’s another joke test anyway.” She whispered to herself,throwing the test in the trash. Jaz walked in the living room. “Boys it’s time for bed, go brush your teeth.”
