As he was lifted bodily off his feet by the gauntleted officer Malzahar felt fear grip him, he knew he wasn’t built for this and her anger was quite ferocious. Inside him though there was something else, anger, indignation, rage. The void was always closer just after he awoke and he HAD just been unconscious for a moment. ~Who WAS this, human to dare and challenge the prophet, who was SHE compared to the infinite wisdom and power of the voice~
Outwardly his eyes flashed and swirled as if through his pupils were the very stars themselves. His mask had fallen and he sneered at her. It was beneath him even to speak to this one, what law of men could have authority over the powers he served!
The void channeled through him and a flash of purple sent them both hurtling apart. He felt his own flesh tear from the impact, although she had obviously felt the brunt of the blast. One of the risks of being an agent of the void was the blatant disregard for human frailty.
~Very good, nothing can stand in the way of your service to the cause, Call us forth and release us into this place.~
