Day 7
Vulnerability/Acceptance.
There was one night where Megatronus, after finishing his speech, left earlier than usual and asked for some time alone.
Hours later, Orion went to him to listen to what Megatronus wanted to talk about.
Megatronus hesitated at first, because he knew very well that among all his companions, he did not let himself be open with others due to mistrust, Orion did not pressure him and told him that they could be silent, that if he needed company, he would be there.
Megatronus did not say anything for a moment, both looked at the stars until he finally had the confidence to talk to Orion.
Megatronus told him that he was happy about the movement that was being made, the progress and the possibility of a true golden age for Cybertron. However, he feared several things, he feared that if he kept hope, everything would fall apart, he feared neglecting himself because he knew that there were people who would betray him, he feared failing in his mission and he feared that it would make him weak to others if he showed it.
Orion listened to him and gave him time, reasoned and thought. Until he decided to speak.
That feeling was never a weakness, that in fact, it is one of the main factors that had inspired many to fight and aspire, something that Megatronus was no stranger to. This movement would never have been made if Megatronus had never feared continuing in the mines, the Decepticon movement would never have become known if he had not feared that his voice would not be heard and in fact, Orion admitted that the impulse that led him to meet Megatronus and support him, was because he feared living in ignorance of the suffering of the people who gave everything of themselves to make Cybertron as glorious as it is now.
He told him that even with those fears, he never saw him as weak, he saw him as someone brave and concerned about the safety of others, something that led him to admire him and follow him for that, in fact, that made many people follow him with that too. He also had to remember that even though he was a leader, he was still like them and that if he needed someone to vent his worries, joys, anger or more, Soundwave would be there for him, just like Orion would be there for him.
Because through everything, he was his friend. And he would support him the same way he did with all of Cybertron.
Megatronus felt comforted, he allowed himself for the first time to accept his feelings in the face of the weight he felt, Orion suggested a hug to Megatronus and he accepted.
