hi, my name’s Kate and I’m from Moscow, Russia. It’s been a year and three moth after dnp went to Russia and did two shows there and since then I’m angry af.

I’m not angry because I didn’t get a chance to go (I went there and it was amazing and I loved it), I’m angry because y’all literally hated on Russia and Russian phandom for 4 days straight and yes it’s kinda late but I don’t give a fuck :)

So it’s all started when Dan said that he is going to leave social media for a couple of days:

Well, they did that not because it was shows in Russia. How do I know that? Because the 1975 (British band) did two shows in Russia in the end of august and they didn’t suddenly quit social media and so did yungblud and Imagine Dragons and twenty one pilots and the neighborhood so I think we’re clear here.

If someone is still confused: this is a meme in Russia and that girl explained it to Dan and Phil. She didn’t force them to do it, all right?

Now let’s talk about the most upsetting thing. I’m talking about mean tweets about “Dan and Phil in Russia” thing. I won’t comment anything on that. Those tweets are just proving that media is shit and you should throw your tv out of the window

Well, now when y’all feel shitty about yourself I want to say that we’re not our goverment. Yeah I know that I live in racist and homofobic country but so do you, because it’s racist and homophobic everywhere.
