Groverhaus

A masterpiece of Turn-of-Millenium Simerican Vernacular architecture, and an Internet legend!

I recreated this legendary house live on the Purple Website through the month of March 2025, specially on the 1st, 8th and 22nd. Also made a 🎄🎅 𝓙𝓞𝓛𝓛𝓨 🎅🎄 Version of it on December 14th's live stream.

Anyways, this is a residential lot and was built on 50 Skyborough Blvd (a 30x30 lot) in Sunset Valley, replacing the "Americana" house, just behind the City Hall.

Requires all EPs and the High-End Loft, Fast Lane and Movie SPs. For the Store Content, requires the prickly pear from the Lucky Palms world and the grandfather clock from the Now and Then Century Manor lot (I used a decrappified version for both though). Some CC required, specifically HugeLunatic's Simple Shower Tub and Smaller Closure Door, joninmobile's CASt-able Default Replacement Objects, Sookielee's White Trim Roofs (which has been included in @potato-ballad-sims' Boroughsburg CC files) and DayCrystal1997's Functional Closet Mod.

For the 🎄🎅 𝓙𝓞𝓛𝓛𝓨 🎅🎄 Version, it also requires the Master Suite SP, the obnoxiously big snow globe from the "More Holidays Presents" set and the candy cane from the "Happy Holidays to yout Furry Friends!" set (both Store, both decrapified) and @aroundthesims' Christmas Decors from her 2015 Advent Calendar.

Btw for the screenshots I used @potato-ballad-sims' Clear and Bright Sky lighting mod.

Edit: Just now I noticed both versions use the spotlight from the Town Life SP... and the L stair from the Then and Now Century Manor, oopsie :3

4t2 @squea Beetle Eyes 2 Fairy Swatches Custom Eyeset + Supernatural Defaults

When I went to try out the Enchanted by Nature EP, I didn't get past CAS after updating my TS4 mods and seeing these beautiful new swatches for fairies! I just had to convert them for TS2, plus they were perfectly suited for the supernatural defaults I hadn't covered yet.

These all match my updated conversion of Beetle Eyes (duotone defaults).

Beetle Eyes 2 Vampire Default Replacement, with support for @episims' Vampires Show Signs Of Hunger mod

With this, vampires will keep their original skintone but with red eyes (FairyDeepBlack swatch). With Epi's mod, once hunger is low, vampires get visible veins from the original mod, black sclera, and eyebags I converted from the Vampires GP (easy thanks to @paluding's Tattooer). I have included the mod files in my download, but please read their full post for all the info!

Skintone-Correlated Werewolf Default Replacement

This default uses transparent images for all body textures, so sims keep their original skintone, no fur, in werewolf form. Instead, they get FairyGold on black sclera, DeeDee-Sims' forehead wrinkles, and Crisps&Kerosenes' sharp teeth. They are skintone-correlated (the Maxis default behavior), so werewolf-aliens get their own version with edited eyes (no pupils) and teeth (with blue gums). For sims with custom skintones, use jellymeduza's Custom skintoned werewolves fur fix, otherwise it won't show up on them. The S3 texture was tested with this mod, the wrinkle texture is neutral-toned to fit more skintones (while the others fit their respective skintone, ex. S5 aliens getting dark green wrinkles).
