#this night quite honestly #how can I feel so good with myself and who I am #and still so painfully alone #like #when I was miserable I was lonely too and now at least I’m happy #with myself and my choices and the course I’m setting my life on #but #but but #I still feel like I’m on the outside #like I’m looking at all those people drinking and dancing and I’m happy for them #I’m also dancing #but there are these little daggers #I feel out of place when I look at them because I’m sure we’re too different to actually see each other #really see #and I guess it does come back to him #he’s the same and I’m different #or he’s different but he wishes he wasn’t #he still wants me not so secretly to drink bc then it’s kind of back to normal #(not really)#and wants me to be inappropriate when I drink #(but only with him which was never the case)#and he wants to be happy and he misses playing video games #(which he can still play)#and be more carefree and it’s nothing that serious #(but it is)#because he is unhappy #he can’t do the things that bring him the most joy because he feels a sense of responsibility to care and spend time with his child #but what is it really worth if he’s unhappy because of that choice #I wish I could make him understand this and accept it #then he could do what he really wants to rather than hanging on out of sense of obligation
