She promised herself she wouldn't be angry at him, but that comment pissed her off. She jumped from her chair and got extremely close to him. Her nose was nose touchingly close to Haymitch's and her lips were a tease. “I don't just 'swing my axe around.' You say it like you're talking about boobs. I can cause serious damage with the axe, thanks."

"Or, you know. You could call me Haymitch, instead of calling me a name you’d call a little girl." He’d rather be called something for his drinking than his hair, but he had a feeling that he wasn’t going to change her mind about it. "But let’s keep with the topic at hand. I need to know how you feel about Katniss, forming an alliance perhaps?"

       “Fine, Haymitch." Her words were cold and sarcastic, but that's how she acted sometimes. As he continued to speak, a mockery laugh left her lips. “You want me to team up with brainless? Haven't you heard who she wants? I saw her in training. She wants Nuts, Volts, and Mags. Three people who're bound to survive less than a day."
