Nate meant to drop some files off in Major Strikes office. He was always sent to do the boring tasks after all…
However Nate was real tired (what’s new) and he wasn’t exactly thinking straight!!
So… he ended up curled up on the floor of Majors office, the files hugged close to his chest like a stuffed animal.

(ooc- the rp i was talking about last night hehe
(I'm alive!!)
Major huffs as he walks down the hallways, Sunny bounding behind him as usual, and Major opens the door with a small creaking noise, before pausing in the doorway and staring at the ground. "What is it?" Sunny tries to peek over his shoulders, but he's too tall, so she just jumps up, then laughs. "Is he asleep? On the floor of your office?" She giggles as Major walks in and kneels down, tapping his head a few times before pinching his nostrils shut. "Yep." He replies to Sunny, who keeps giggling and stands beside Major. "Must have been sleepy."
Sunny giggles and calls his name. "Nate!" She pats his cheek softly, then Major gets up and sits at his desk. "Naaaatee!" Sunny tries again, looking at his face with a tilted head.

"Must have been sleepy."
The poor guy had been up for HOURS this past week, between all the check ins with his officers to training to plotting his escape. He barely had time to sleep…
Which is how he ended up passed out in the middle of the hallway… yeah. Great place to nap.
Sunny was just walking down the halls with some papers when she spots Nate, slowing down her pace and stopping at his feet. "Nate..?" He calls out and crouches down, poking his cheek a little. "Ppsssst... Nate?" She mumbles and thinks, then pinches his nose shut. "Wake up, you can't sleep in the halls."
"Nate." She murmurs and taps his head with the papers. "Get up, mate. You're in the hallways, and if Major-" Sunny goes silent as she gets cut off by a loud, gruffly voice.
"Nate Starr, get your ass up off the floor and get to your barracks!" Major yells out and slowly walks over, Sunny skittering away shyly. "I didn't-" "Shut it, Sunny. My office." And with that, Sunny runs off with the papers, leaving Nate and Major.
"What's going on? I'll tell you. You're about to get your ass kicked if you don't move to your barracks in the next 5 seconds!" He yells and pulls Nate up with a grumble, pointing down the hallway. "Go!"
"And you decided the floor was comfy? You look like a street dog, Nathan. Go sleep in the common room." He huffs and walks away, crossing his arms with a little bit of dark blonde hair poking out of his balaclava.
‘ The commons room is busy-! ‘ Nate yelled after him, not chasing after though. ‘ …Street dog. ‘ He grumbled, obviously upset. He ruffled his hair and sat back down on the floor.
Major is gone from the hallway now, dealing with his own shit, then Sunny comes over and gently picks him up. She carries him bridal style down the hallways and into the medbay, laying him on a bed and talking to the medics. "Yeah- He's just tired. But- Don't wake him unless you really need to. Okay.. Thank you." And then she scurries off, probably back to Major's office.
The next morning at breakfast, Sunny was sitting with Major, talking his head off with a smile, talking about whatever comes to mind. And every few minutes Major taps her tray, reminding her to eat her breakfast.
Sunny pauses her story and watches Nate, then grabs her tinfoil from the hot sandwhich she got and wraps it into a ball. After a little meticulous shapping and aiming, Sunny throws it at Nate's head to catch his attention.
"Yeah- It's kinda shitty.. Common room machine is better." She mumbles and eats her sandwhich, Major sipping his drink with a straw under the balaclava.
"What, you were gonna make me pay?" She giggles and takes it, swapping him a few grapes. "Uhm- Major?" She mumbles and looks at him. "Mh.." He grunts and moves his eyes, slowly sipping his tea. "Could I have-" Major immediately glares at Sunny who looks away and goes quiet, just eating her apple.
Sunny finishes her food and leaves the mess, leaving Nate with a very angry and glaring Major. "You're being a baby about it, Sunny." He calls out to her, and she simply slams the messhall doors behind her.

On his way down, Nate was looking at the monitor on his ankle and not where he was going, causing him to practically collide into this brute of a man, who simply grunts and glares coldly at Nate from under his full faced balaclava. He simply nudges the man back and keeps walking, before a private bounds over and checks on Nate. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you? I'm so sorry.. That's Strike, he's a Major. Are you new? I've never seen you here?"
Nate stared at the man who just collided into him ‘ Damn, who pissed in his coffee? ‘ He let out a dry laugh then turned to the other man ‘ I’m fine thank you. Strike seems like a bundle of joy! ‘
At the question of if he was new ‘ Yeah, I’m Nate. I’m a new… guy. ‘ Nate nodded, like that explained everything.
Then he made sure his pant leg was covering his ankle monitor.
"He's just like that." Sunny smiles and gestures for Strike to wait, to which the hunk pauses his walking to wait for sunny.
"Uhm- That's.. Strike!" He smiles as Strike stares the ever living hell out of Nate, then points to the bump in his pant leg. "Mh." He grunts and walks closer, patting Sunny and walking away, to which the Private scurries off and keeps talking to Strike. "And- Yeah! So I aced my BT exam, and the physical side too! And I did the wall jump!" He beams and bounces on his feet a little, while Strike just holds his vest and listens to Sunny talk to him happily.
Strike keeps walking, giving Nate a small sigh before nudging Sunny. "Oh- I can help!" She smiles and turns to face Nate. "Here, I'll walk you! It's almost lunch, anyway!" She beams and gestures to follow her, walking away from Strike who watches her closely like a hawk. Or maybe it was Nate. Can't tell. But- Anway.
Sunny talks to Nate the whole way down, bright and bubbly as she happily introduces herself. A soldier soon stops them, black gaiter and hair out, alongside a silver cuff in his left ear. "Hey- Sunny? Where's Strike? And who's this?" He asks and glances to Nate, then back to Sunny. "Oh! I'm showing our new friend around! And Strike is... Left wing, maybe the right hall by now?" She shrugs and points to the man, looking to Nate. "This is Ellwyn! Luitenant Ross, if you will." And the man gives Nate an offered fist bump. "Just call me Ellwyn."
Nate followed after her, shoving his hands in his pockets. He felt very out of place in his suit. But he kinda liked it. It felt like he demanded respect.
Nate studied Ellwyn closely before giving one of his normal charming smiles ‘ Nate Starr. ‘ He said, returning the fistbump and wiggling his fingers as he pulled away (think big hero 6)
Ellwyn chuckles and keeps walking, giving a small wave as he scurries off to finish his duties. "So- You got your schedule yet? Or know your training group?" Sunny asks Nate and keeps walking, checking her uniform as an officer walks by. "I have number 5." She adds on, glancing at Nate.
Nate looked over at Sunny, she thought he was a recruit… hm… he could work with this ‘ Yeah actually, I have that group too. ‘ He shrugged, he was wondering when he would get his actual schedule.

It was currently heat season, all the hybrids shut in their rooms, while some non-hybrid officers let them out and monitor their movements. Albie was shut in his room, whining and rolling on his bed, rubbing his face against the hoodie Lynx gave him, making small whines of annoyance as the scent won't stick. "Hrr- Lynx!" He yells out and gets up, trying to open the door. "Lynx!!" Albie wails, ears tucked down and tail curled in between his legs. "Please, I want..-"

Meanwhile Lynx is shut in his own room, sobbing and scratching at the door. He’s got a pillowcase from Albie and is desperately clinging to it while whining.
“please-please I wanna go out— Can’t- Can’t get the door open—“
Albie falls asleep for a few hours before he wakes up to something nudging his leg and whining. Lynx is holding onto Albies leg for dear life, ears pinned and tail tucked.
Lynx keeps whining, flinching in his sleep and shifting around uncomfortably. Even with Albie touching him and talking he doesn’t seem to be waking up at all.
