Sun conjunct Mars

You desire to assert your will and establish control over others. Power and authority are very important to you. Determined to attain both, this drives you towards whatever you set your mind to. Whether positive or negative, a conjunction between the Sun and Mars makes you aggressive and assertive. Compromising is impossible with you, and you refuse to submit to anyone. You believe life would be better if everyone just thought and acted like you. In many cases you presume superiority which causes others to see you as conceited. Your lack of consideration can be detrimental to your career. When someone finally does stand up, questioning your authority or intelligence, it’s a clash of titans. Athleticism and recklessness are also caused by this conjunction. Extreme sports will attract your attention and you shouldn‘t ignore it. Auto racing, rock climbing, or skydiving can be some interesting hobbies for you. You’re the ultimate competitor, and when you don’t succeed, you’re the ultimate sore loser. Several times you may just take your ball and go home. Be careful when using machinery and dangerous objects, your tendency to move fast and not pay attention could prove unfortunate. Be careful when Uranus eventually transits over this alignment. It will always indicate a serious injury affecting you somehow.

Moon square Uranus:

A square between the Moon and Uranus causes you to act emotionally impulsive and rash. There is a hair trigger when it comes to you and most people know it. You’re an eccentric character, and fitting into any normal section of society just isn’t for you. You make erratic decisions hastily then wonder where things went wrong. All your emotional reactions are instantaneous and usually misguided. When someone crosses you the reactionary outburst is quick, unexpected, and usually hot tempered. If the planet Mars is involved in any way this reaction will probably be violent. In romance you must give your interests the same freedoms you enjoy. This will cause tensions in any relationship when boundaries are not set early. You desire to roam wherever may be the most pleasurable. Marriage will only succeed when you learn to compromise and give up some of your freedoms. You’re emotionally unstable and can be quite a basket case. Several times throughout your life you will need to re-evaluate what you want and how to go about getting it. The realization that life is never perfect, and you never really get all you want will be the key to your happiness. There are very few alignments as difficult to predict as this one. House placement is key for this alignment because it will indicate the two houses you experience the most spontaneous catastrophes.

Moon opposite Jupiter

Oppositions between the Moon and Jupiter cause you to be extremely emotional and confused where to direct your passions. You’re compassionate and caring to a dangerous level. Many times associating with the wrong person winding up in a mess of trouble. If you always extend a hand to those with fewer advantages it only causes needless expenditures of valuable resources. Whether it be overextending your time or spending too much money frivolously, this constant circle will continue until you can address your problems. You continually give others the benefit of the doubt despite the lack of proof behind their statements. Don’t become too emotionally enveloped until that person has shown you the same feelings. Your romantic life will suffer because you feel your partner is continually using you. This is because you put the needs of others before yours and they grow used to your services. Eventually everyone just expects you to do certain things and when you speak up or become resentful they simply stand there wondering why. The most basic philosophy of this aspect is the expansion of emotions. Higher consciousness will be revealed through extremely emotional circumstances. Sometimes good. Sometimes bad.

Venus square Saturn:

Any square involving Venus is going to create constant tension somewhere in your relationship circle. This particular alignment affects the contacts you have within your career or education. Basically you don’t get along with people at work. You’re very uncooperative until you get your way and don’t know how to express your emotions, assuming people psychically know how you’re feeling. If there are too many other harsh aspects you’re not a very nice person and should learn some courtesy. This aspect makes it difficult to open up and relate to others freely. Emotional expressions show signs of weakness and dependency. Saturn wants to do everything by itself and Venus is entirely reliant on others. In turn, this causes you to feel socially unaccepted and isolated from society. You’re constantly on the defensive and unwilling to accept the responsibilities of forming a long lasting relationship. In your childhood years this usually indicates tensions in the relationship between your parents, especially your father. The conditioning you received as a child directly affects your life long into adulthood. Don’t be afraid to seek professional counseling and help if the negative emotions become too difficult to handle. If your parents divorced you may have felt it was your fault and they didn’t love you enough to stick it out. The conjunction between the Sun and Venus represents a strongly developed and highly passionate love nature. Although it may not be apparent to the casual observer, your desire to be accepted and loved is matched by none other.  Although you’re very social and friendly, compromise is difficult, simply because you don’t want to appear weak. Once she gets going nothing can be as over dramatic as Venus, and if your Sun is in one of the fire signs, you can expect some blazes. You especially want to be recognized as a substantial individual who offers many important values, ideas, and views. Unfortunately, Venus is known for being social, graceful, and beautiful, not intelligent. Hopefully you have some brain power from elsewhere. I personally consider Venus the air head of the solar system, and accept any arguments against it. Her positioning shows where anyone is the most ditzy and oblivious. Intelligence aside, you succeed through your social alliances and personal contacts. You know how to get a group of people to function properly. Art, music, and theater are all areas you can excel in. You’ll enthusiastically join a conversation even if you know little about the subject, allowing yourself to become more informed about something new. At its worst this makes you over demanding and expectant of things you don’t deserve. You sometimes pompously presume your mere presence is enough to merit everyone’s attention. The other major difficulty is your complete obliviousness and the inability to see how your behavior affects your situation. You are constantly falling in love and you’re a romanticist at heart being swayed by a simple display of affection.

The Moon opposite Saturn instills you with an elevated sense of responsibility and emotional restriction. You either feel completely enslaved to your personal duties, or reject everything required of you. Many times issues with pessimism and depression are associated with this aspect. Quite often you will take life too seriously, with no experience ever being casual or superficial. During youth responsibility was taught as part of growing up and you miss your childhood. Many times this causes emotional tensions with one or both of your parents, probably your father. No amount of attention was ever enough, and if he truly did neglect you the emotional trauma is especially scarring. The biggest problem between you and them was the lack of emotional connection. Maybe he was stricter and more demanding than most parents. Possibly he wasn’t part of your life and the absence hurts tremendously. This isn’t to say you don’t love you parents, but there are serious difficulties when bonding. Because of this you tend to grow responsible early and seem to get along with older people more than those your own age. This is not usually a pleasant aspect creating a wall between your ability to express your emotions and your personality. If your upbringing was positive then it will be difficult to leave your home and family. If it was negative it would be impossible to let go of the scars from the past. Until you do so happiness and success will be difficult, if not impossible.

Mercury opposite Uranus

You possess an extreme amount of intellectual ability, but basically, you’re a misunderstood genius with a knack for incurring wrath from others. This is one of the most interesting alignments Mercury can make. Both Mercury and Uranus are brilliantly innovative, and when they oppose like this, the intelligence is there, but requires a direction to focus on. Other alignments will turn you into a prodigy of music, science, or art. Any aspect with Mercury is mainly influencing your brain, nervous system, and sometimes physical agility. If Venus is involved then you either have a beautiful singing voice or strong public speaking abilities. When this aspect is exact, or in a fire/air polarity then speech impediments, nervousness, or mental disability will most likely exist. Many times you feel your opinions are the only valid ones, and assume everyone will just agree with you. When they don’t you become angrily agitated. You may also develop a “know it all” attitude towards those below you in your profession. If you develop an interest in science or technology don’t shy away from it. Although Mercury aspects don’t indicate direct careers, finding employment in the fields of medicine or research and development can prove interesting and lucrative.

This is one of the most wonderful aspects in all of astrology. There is a harmonious balance between your spirit and emotions. You naturally react to situations in such a way that your will and your habits can continue to develop properly. There’s a good balance between the lessons you have learned from past experience and your ability to use this knowledge when making future decisions. Your relationship with your parents was generally favorable to your continual growth. They probably inspired you to become your own individual and not merely a reflection of themselves. This doesn’t necessarily mean you have a functional relationship with them. Unfortunately, most of life’s lessons are learned through calamity and strife. This alignment helps sooth the negativities we all experience. Your greatest problem, if it can be called that, is your tendency to lack aggression when you need to assert yourself. You may find you waited too long and someone else has gotten there first. This is a nurturing aspect allowing you to respond well to children and they seem to be on their best behavior around you. You seem to meet the right people at the right time, and use it to your best advantage. In positions of authority you feel completely at ease, and exercise your will with an understanding of how others will react to it.

When these two planets are aligned like this you possess a good understanding of your limitations and capabilities. This aspect allows you to remain focused on a single goal or objective for long periods of time. You’re usually well informed about many subjects, but mainly personal interests, which you’re always willing to discuss with others. Backing up your statements with facts and statistics is more important than anything. Most people with this in their charts mature and accept responsibility earlier than most. You may have felt isolated and alone as a child. This is because you feel more comfortable around others who are older and more mature. Constantly learning, you’re endlessly curious about how and why things work. The little intricacies of machines, computers, or sciences fascinate you and can keep your attention for hours. Your aptitude for precise calculations and statistics will make you an excellent engineer or architect. House placement will be a good indicator of where you seek to be the most knowledgeable. This alignment also eases the relations you have with your father. It’s easy for you to open up to him by communicating your thoughts and feelings.

When Mars and Neptune are positioned like this it’s extremely difficult and most times impossible to assert yourself without causing severe emotional turmoil. You fluctuate between intense aggression and complete passiveness. You can never figure out when it’s the right time to go after something or just let it pass by. Once you see the results of your actions you feel depressed and melancholy for not making the proper decision. Your unconscious tendencies cause you to create anxieties and annoyances within all your romantic relationships. You become attracted to someone who is already taken, or highly unstable thinking that you, and only you, can change them for the better. Your early childhood conditioning caused you to repress your will and desires so much so that you suffer many years into your adult hood. The house each planet occupies will show where you are the most timid, Neptune placement, an overly aggressive, Mars placement. Quite often you just can’t figure out what you want let alone how to get it. This also stimulates psychic abilities and vivid dreams. If you choose a path into the higher realms of the spiritual world then you will experience great and unusual things that won’t happen to other people. An aspect like this usually places unneeded stress and tensions where they don’t need to go. This particular alignment indicates many problems trying to establish the priorities in your life. Any alignment between Mars and Jupiter stimulates aggression and this aspect is more strenuous than gracious. You feel you’re allowed to overstep boundaries which others are not. This casual way of interjecting yourself into the affairs of others causes most of the breakdowns in your personal relationships. It’s the assumption others cannot fend for themselves which makes you feel the need to respond. Most of the time you’re simply the harping critic who can’t shut up until things are done their way. Take time to honestly analyze how your actions and words are affecting the situation. Although you don’t want to, the responsibilities on your part are always factors as well. In romantic relationships you’re best suited when your partner meets your needs more than theirs. If you aren’t the dominant force in the partnership it won’t last very long. Moon opposite Venus

The Moon opposite Venus makes you stingy and rude, although most times you don’t even know it. It’s not one of the more pleasant alignments and hopefully you have harmonizing influences elsewhere. You’re easily offended and become extremely vocal once you are. Displaying your displeasure isn’t difficult and chances are you’re very hyper critical as well as invasive. When your needs aren’t met you turn into a diva, requesting others do things you can easily accomplish alone. I call it damsel in distress syndrome. Although there will be a lot of negative energy, there are also positives to everything. When in love you’re completely committed, and require your companion to be the same. Tensions will arise within all your relationships whether in romance, friendship, or family when you fail to bend as much as you instruct others to. Because you’re so demanding you always seem too busy with your own issues to help others. With no intention on your part, the subconscious signals you send alerts others you don’t really want to help. Sometimes you do, but do so grudgingly. The basic nature of this alignment is the emotions of the Moon don’t know how to function within your relationship. You don’t know how you truly feel and can’t make an accurate judgment. Once you figure out how you feel your life will balance itself out.   

Moon conjunct Neptune

You’re psychic, imaginative, and emotional, when the Moon is conjoining Neptune. These are two easily swayed planets which will definitely be influenced by the other planets. The biggest conflict is the confusing emotional states they put you in. This pretty much places you into a constant delusional dreamland where it’s difficult to determine reality. You naturally absorb the emotions of others and can project yours onto them. You’re attracted to others with serious issues wishing to help all in need. Many times you’ll extend your hand of generosity and then become angry when you’re taken advantage of. The imagination you possess is so vivid while at work your attention span is short because you‘re off in fantasy land. If you stay doing the same thing for hours on end it will drive you crazy. Setting your own pace and hours can be helpful if that’s an option for you. If not, you will probably be fired for being late, lazy, or dawdling at least once or twice in your life. Vivid dreams and psychic visions are also effects of this aspect. Be very careful when you get bad feelings about people, you will find out you’re right more often than not.
