The Seer: Mairéad Greum

My first legitimate muse would have been Niamh Heughan. A human paladin that I created back in… 2015? I was very much new to WoW and roleplay of this style so I’m sure I had plenty wrong with her backstory in terms of lore. Her family were lower nobles that were from Lordaeron and managed to flee when it fell. She lost her mother in that escape but her and her father made it out and resettled in Stormwind. They had a modest, by comparison, lifestyle that kept them both in comfort with her fathers connections to the city. She was a soft spoken, gentle and warm-hearted young woman whose father dotted on her.

One day something woke her in the middle of the night and when she got up to see what it was she overheard someone threatening her father. She was rather naive to the politics of their city and the world around them, but she knew with the heated words that something was very wrong.

Not long later her father was murdered but for some reason his death was never investigated when she told the guard about that night and labeled a robbery turned deadly. This was the catalyst that had her seeking out a way to seek justice for her father her own way. Slowly. It surly she trained and through lucky connections became a paladin. A small thing that was more often than not underestimated for her petite stature and youth fully innocent appearance- regardless if she was carrying around a characteristic mace that was almost as big as she.

Around the time I created Mairead Niamh fell by the way side and I never gave her closure to that mystery.

BEFORE wow 😂 I’m slightly embarrassed to say my experience with rp was back in middle school with Gundam Wing characters in MSN and Yahoo chat. I was OBSESSED with Quatre and Trowa. 😓🤭😅 I can’t recall the client we originally used back then (this would have been like 2001?) but it was, in its archaic way the yesteryear version of discord.

-Mai hasn’t been either here nor there lately. There have been a few false restarts as trying to become active with her again and some private original roleplay stories that took place outside of tumblr over the past few years. I’ve been preoccupied almost entirely with real life. Created a couple of humans(one is almost 4 and the other nearly a year old), moved to a new city, building a house and about to move to a new “city” again.

As of right now I am retconning everything that took place after a certain love interest and dark to encounter and picking up with events immediately after. My circle of writing partners is small but we’re close and they’ve been remarkably patient with me in this hectic phase of my life. 🥰 you’ll likely be seeming things from here @morwenna-bloodrose @the-nightingales-melody @silas-daneson-grey in regards to my characters and writing as I try to rebuild my activity.
