there’s a slow sigh as she settles against the kitchen island. a hand pushes her hair back, subsequently plucking a mandarin from her neck. “ my darling persephone, please. ” it’s peeled effortlessly, laying its petals gently within the younger’s reach. “ you are straining yourself, do you realize that ?  goodness. at this rate, you’ll die from your body giving out. take a break, dear. rest. you need to find some release from it all. ” brows furrow slightly as her brain quickly racks for a solution, but instead, she chose to tease. a wicked grin pulls across her lips, she leans in slowly. “ i’m sure you’d quite enjoy hades’ company as opposed to my own.  should i ask if he’sbusy ?  i’m certain he’d find some time for you. he always does. ”

cheeks   flared   up   in   embarrassment  ,   &   blue   flower   petals   begin   to   form   around   her   head  .   eyes   now   glued   to   the   pieces   of   fresh   fruit  offered   to   her   from   the   other  .   swiftly  ,   she   swiped   a   single   piece    &    started    to    chew   away   on   it  .   why   did   the   other   goddess   decide   to   bring   his   name   into   the   conversation   was   beyond   her  .   to   tease  ,   or   watch   her   tense   up   upon   mention   of   the   god   of   the   underworld  ?    that    was    too    unfair  !

she   had   to   be  ,   otherwise   this   homework   will   never   get   done  !   complete   focus   was   a   must  ,   just   as   her   mother   taught   her  .   with   another   sigh   heard   from   the   pinkette  ,   she   now   set   her   pen   down   on    top    of    the    numerous   papers  .   defeat   was   just   beyond   the   horizon  .   persephone   looked   over   to   her   friend   who   showed   quite   the   worried   look ,   which   she    feigned    a    smile    for   her  ,   one   that   could   almost   express   its   own   worries  .  ❛   i’m   sorry  ,   saya  .   this   assignment   is   tougher   than   the   other   ones   &   i   can’t   afford   to   get   a   low   score   on   it  .   don’t   worry  ,   i’ll   stop   stressing   out   about   this   when   everything   is   turned   in  .   ❜
