There's one thing that, for the love of God, everyone who follows islam simply must understand. If you want to do something, legitimately anything, then by all means my loves تفضلو go ahead! For example, since it's that time of year, partaking in the holidays!

“There are many animals on earth that do not worry about provision at all. Allah gives them their rizq, and He will give it to you too. And Allah is All-Hearing & All-Knowing.”

‎And she said, when the muslims were told to migrate to Madinah, they asked, “How can we migrate? We don’t have a home or wealth, then who will give us food?” So it was said to them,

“لا تحمل رزقها”

Meaning don’t worry about tomorrow just like the animals and birds who don’t worry and have full trust in Allah.

And it’s amazing that animals have more tawakkul in Allah than us when we have been given sense. There’s no difference between the rich and the poor, the muslim and non-muslim. Allah provides for everyone. So then why do we worry about the future and think Allah has not heard our silent du’as?

“If you were to rely upon Allah with reliance due to Him, then He would provide for you just as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning with empty stomachs and return full.”

"‏اللهم مصرف القلوب صرف قلوبنا على طاعتك"

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) supplicated: "Allahumma musarrifal-qulubi, sarrif qulubana 'ala ta'atika (O Allah! Controller of the hearts, direct our hearts to Your obedience)."

If Allah knows there is anything good in your hearts,

يُؤْتِكُمْ خَيْرًا مِّمَّا أُخِذَ مِنكُمْ

He will give you better than that which has been taken away from you,

وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

And He will forgive you. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
