Mirika, The Eternal
The healer, the Father, the 'good doctor'. All are titles that described him over his short but very hectic life. A wizard that lived over 200 years. (Mostly in stasis.).
Has seen the rise and fall of humanity, and; though jaded, now travels to see the world he has missed for so long.
(Note: This is inspired by a Dungeons and Dragons Campaign called The Crystal Empire I did some years ago and now serves for really for personal entertainment.)

Personality: Haughty and rude at the worst times. Speaks matter of factly but has a soft heart despite his best efforts to stop playing "captain hero".

Valerius is the man Mirika met in a taver, The Magician's Hat.
Mirika had finished sailing across the sea to a new land known as Visterra.Β
It wasn't for a fresh start, it was to end his life.Β
After being awoken from a 200 year coma, he had lost everything. The respect of his people, his own history, and the love of his life, Vjorn.
So Mirika only decides to eat one last meal before that.
Valerius, at the time, was a pick pocket. A homeless novice mage on hard times. And Mirika looked like an easy steal.Β
Unfortunately, Mirika was not only aware of his attempt, he also didn't have money in the pouch Valerius took.Β
(It was full of cordyceps).Β
Horrified and thrown off, Valerius was too stunned to continue with his attempt at theft. Instead, he inquired who Mirika was.Β
Mirika didn't feel like answering but noted how down on their luck they were. Unable to really turn away someone in need, he offered to buy Valerius food.Β
Whether or not it was a twist of fate, or a cruel godβs intervention: they ended up talking to each other. Valeriusβ kindness and desire to actually help people was a huge reason why he honed in on Mirikaβs desire to end his life. And while the end of that conversation resulted in Mirika being slapped (literally slapped), he didn't end it all. If anything, he was too pissed and annoyed at Valeriusβ nosy and pushy personality to focus on it.Β
He ended up retiring to a room for the night to sleep. Though Valerius insisted on hawking him down to make sure nothing else happened. Nothing did.Β In fact, Mirika hardened his resolved to gain back what he had lost. Not his love, or his home, it was his power and that he had bargined to a deity.

Valerius prided himself on being a bit of a masked vigilante. One that tried to help people that needed it. Especially in Estaria.
This night,he had confronted Mirika once more in the guise as the ill omen. Of course, this little parlor trick didn't go over Mirika's head, and he revealed he knew who he was with mild annoynace.
After a brief argument, Mirika's jaded attitude to life and people sends Valerius away. What compelled Mirika to change his mind is unknown. But he did admit, that he had a similar outlook at Valerius but warns you can't just help people without understanding what they need. Saving and healing is a thankless job.
Valeriu understands a small shred of where Mirika's POV comes from.

Valerius heard of an extortion ring going on in Estaria and tried to take on some small fry vampire like species, (vamorra) unfortunatly, they weren't something he could handle. Mirika, was, coincidently, in the area and came to his aid.
The vamorra ran which gave Mirika time to mend Valerius wounds and ask why he was so reckless. Scolding him how he could have done. Turns out, they are more alike than the mage would care to admit. This moment allowed them both to share stories with each other, and fully establish their friendship.

TL:DR I do not want to cancel the show, I don't want it to cancel me.
So I have been forced, basically, to make this statement as I am being asked about this character or 'introduced' to it (and the incoming new show) against my desires. I have deleted all previous posts about my encounters with this problem long ago for personal reasons that will be apparent, but people don't know about my situation and do deserve an explanation. I will keep this post short for my own mental health. This is the first time I have disclosed any of this information to the public, and it is hopefully the last. My silence has been a part of my uncomfortable situation, but it's clear the world won't let me try to just ignore it any longer, so it's full disclosure time.
1, Yes. I know about Mr Puzzles and his uncanny resemblance to RGB, my character from the on going comic The Property of Hate, who pre-exists Mr Puzzles by approximately ten years.
I did not, as a consequence, base RGB off Mr Puzzles...
2, I have received very violent and manipulative hate mail from fans of that character over the past few years due to this similarity, many threatening to slander me via cancel culture to discredit my own creations. The worst of these messages almost caused me to commit suicide which close friends can attest to (this period coincided with the death of my father which they used against me to full effect).
Since then the hatemail has been less frequent, but continues, and I am afraid it will pick up again with the advent of this new show.
3, I have contacted the smg4 management about these issues, to no avail. My first email was a request to tell their followers to cease sending me hatemail, which they did not attempt in any way. They have never responded to the large overlaps in terms of RGB's design, and when I finally sent them an email via a lawyer as a last resort (which cost me Β£4000) they did not respond. Please note that I did not ask for a cease and desist, I only wanted the hatemail to stop, and perhaps for them to alter Mr Puzzle's design very slightly to be a little less like RGB's. I even made this simple suggestion as an example:
Despite going out of my way (against the lawyer's wishes) to phrase the letter in a none-hostile manner, and offer them an alternative, they did not reply to this email at all.
I am a disabled indie cartoonist; I do not have the money to take further legal action, and in any case I do not want to. I hate conflict, and the emotional toll of sending that email alone was enough to make me miserable and exhausted for months. All I want is to be left alone, and for people to know that RGB was invented first. I cannot afford to do anything to protect myself or make anyone listen legally; this post is the most I can do, and it is the only post I intend to make about it.
that's it. that's the whole situation. please do not message me about the show, or the character, as both are very distressing to me: if you do I will either delete the message, or block you, depending on the angle. I have blocked all related tags, and I will unfollow if I see posts, so I am doing everything I can to take care of myself in a non-aggressive fashion. I have only made this statement so that people understand.

I'd like to think in your Menthol AU, the owner heals up Daisuke and just like tells Anya, 'heres ya boy back' free of charge, as he knows the shit she went through.
You're not wrong at all, (I love how you made it sound like he got thrown to Anya like a free toy XD).
But yeah, the aliens have special tech that allows them to look at the memories of theos revived. (Tech belongs to the aliens that operate human zoos so it can depend tourist expereince). The one that bought Anya got a free disk of her trauma and took pity on her. So when Anya asked about the rest of the crew, she and the alien went out of their way to find and buy the others. (Jimmy, Daisuke, Swansea were the order of revives. Curly took work cuz he got auctioned off as he was still alive and the Zoo Keepers only wanted dead bodies).
Daisuke learns later what happened to Anya as she isn't sure she can trust telling him anything. Considering the horrors she is putting Jimmy through.
*slams hands down* an AU where Swansae 'accidentally ' causes Jimmy insufferable, unspeakable torture by some other force. Meanwhile Anya gets taken to therapy by Daiskue.
(NGL I thought og that, btu I think it would be more fitting if Anaya was the one to cause Jimmy unbearable suffering. It's why I made the Menthol Au. This way, Jimmy gets to feel the pain Anya felt and more. He gets to be used and abuse by alien creatures that love humans. )
This is a comic page I did where Anya tells Jimmy that he is going to be working in a brothel to pay her back for the treament he was given to revive him. (News flash, it was free for her she is just torturing and fucking with Jimmy).
Shocker, Jimmy doesn't like the idea of forced m-preg or SA on him for money. he don't have a choice in the matter. Nor does he like how in control Anya is.
Made a dark Mouthwashing Au because sometimes I want Jimmy to suffer a similar or same fate as Anya did. So I made an AU for those that feel the same as me~
Context: The rest of the crew is being nursed back to health. As advanced alien tech is, Anya was first because her cause of death were pills something that could/would be easier to handle. Versus things like organ/brain/head damage. Jimmy was second to be revived cuz I like to assume with such a loser like him, he failed in his own s**cide and was miserably injured. This way, Anya has a lot more time to sit on her new found second chance at life and give to the position she is in now. She personally asked to purchase Jimmy as he would be seen as a high commodity. And if not, she would make him into one.
Note, Anya is a manager and picks out her workers (criminals or fellow human scumbags like Jimmy so no innocence are hurt here folks!)
