Thumbelina // Don Bluth Why? Fairytale, musical, Jodi Benson Sort of the same style of animation, catchy songs, happy ending. Animated musical with similar to some over Disney movies. Also Ariel's voice actor!

When Thumbelina was having test screenings, the studio would play the disney logo before the film to see if it would get a higher score (It did but that’s not the point). The point is, Thumbelina was genetically engineered to have strong Disney vibes.

It's kind of like the princess going on an adventure and falling in love with a princess and then going on a journey for their happy ending with larger than life characters.
