"Mm, Bex, I think I'm a terrible influence on you. I thought we were in a hurry?" Obviously he could care less about being life of the party. The guest of honor. Man of the Hollywood hour. Who gives a good goddamn about any of that when he's wrapped up in her arms? Golden locks. Emerald silk. She's a star brighter than any A-list diva on the scene. Except his little minx here is far more innocent of what goes bump in the night in movie land. Let's keep it that way. Maybe it's one of the reasons he fell so quickly. She's a small town. Flocking to a magic city, housed in the arms of a man probably not wholly magical but one who would give her the world. Landon fell to Rebecca's tune. All those musical notes were praises spilled from her lips all for him. Those same lips he captured with equal urgency. Breathy connections. Tender ministrations.

His hands were full of her. Gradually dragging her away, Landon pushed the blonde against the nearest wall. All tangled kisses, knee sliding between thighs to part them. The director never minced words or feelings. When it came to her? Fuck it. He's diving in head first. No holds barred. If she asked him for the moon he'd figure a way to give it no questions asked. Gasping as she was pressed between him and the wall, she couldn't help but grip him tighter as their lips crashed together. Her pull toward him was magnetic, and she could rarely resist. But the party, his party. And her dress. Rebecca had been dying to show him the dress, though technically she had accomplished that. Her lips brushed against his as she pouted her bottom lip. "I thought you loved the dress," her own voice raspy, taking shallow breaths as she spoke. "It would be such a shame to ruin it..." Shrugging, she made no moves to push him away. "And I wouldn't have anything to wear, and you can't miss your party..." There was no finality in her tone, her attempt to be a voice of reason not even half-hearted. @wynterlanding

To be fully upfront with my lovely mutuals, my already touchy mental health took a few extra hits over the weekend and writing has just felt impossible. I really want to get back into things, and be consistent, but it’s just not working out so I am going to take a step back to put a little less pressure on myself and clear my head. There are a few threads I will still be replying to, but I maybe be a little slow.
