I was pretty sure that Yanqing was around 14-16 and now he's 8?!

I just came back from Google and they gave me this:

The Chinese 1.0.5 version of the game stated that Yanqing is eight years old. The developers removed the exact age in a later version and replaced it with “young”, which might indicate a slightly older age as well.

So that means that he could be older too but not too young. 🤔

Okay so first of all,i am very pissed

The account that this ask was sent on is my personal account and i do not want stuff related to my writing acc(this one) to be associated with my personal one

And second of all this is the 3rd time i've gotten an anonymous ask about this and i have a feeling its been the same person all along,and if you have something to say stop hiding behind the anonymous setting and lets take this to dms so i dont have to fill my acc saying the same thing over and over

There are romantic stuff about whole crew of kny they aren't really different from Yanqing by appearance. And people don't make it into a big deal it's just hcs and fics written by people around similar ages mostly about fiction. I'm not going to get into other stuff but this is tumblr if you don't interact you won't see this blog.

Explain to me how is it possible for an 8 year old to be in an army and fight literal adults and mara struck and go into restricted and dangerous areas and then ill believe you

Because sure,hoyoverse has a habit of making 8 year olds good in combat,like Klee for example,but not to the point that Yanqing is at.

Explain all of that to me and then ill believe you

He is not 8

If he was 8 years old he literally wouldnt be able to be a lieutenant in a fucking army

Does a 8 year old just become a lieutenant? In an army?

Does a 8 year old go out and fight in restricted areas?

Would an 8 year old be fighting Blade(confirmed by leaks)?

The answer is No,if Yanqing was 8 he would be doing none of that

Okay so first of all,vampire!Blade is an interesting thing,because he can be rough,he can be gentle,depends on how you want him to be

If you're into him taking some blood from you then he will do just that from time to time,but if you arent he doesnt mind

A lighthearted scenario i came up with

It was well past midnight,3am? You didnt know anymore,you just needed your water already

Your eyelids were heavy and at this point you were dragging your feet across the floor in your journey to the kitchen

But seems like luck was on your side since you saw the kitchen door already

You entered the kitchen,feeling around for the light switch,but before you could do that you heard some shuffling around in the dark

You obviously got startled,thinking someone had broken in,you grabbed the nearest object,which in fact,happened to be a pan

You carefully switched on the light switch only to hear a hiss of annoyance from none other than your boyfriend,seems like he was out for a late night snack

"I dont think ill even ask" he sighed seeing the pan in your hand as he out his finished pack of blood aside

"Hey its not my fault you sit there like light switches dont exist" your retorted and hit his arm lightly

You tilted your head to the side to give your boyfriend more acces to your neck as he sunk his teeth into it and started feeding on you

You would never get used to the sting of pain that his teeth always gave you,but it was always a sight to see, Blade using your blood as his meal

Always something interesting when he would make eye contact with you while he sucked your blood like it was his last meal

And you would always let him do this,it was a sign of trust,something so valuable to Blade

After all,you were putting your life in his hands each and every single time you let him sink his teeth into your neck

That just drove him to love you and cherish you even more

Especially since blood from his beloved was his favourite in the whole world

They did not know,they had to find Yanqing and you on a date,and even then they didnt believe it was a date,so they watched from afar

Jing Yuan already had suspicions you two were dating or already liked eachother

But your mother,Fu Xuan, was still in denial that her daughter could date the general's son

But how the heck could she deny it any longer when she saw you two kissing?

Your mother was beyond shocked,so shocked that she blew her cover and you both turned to Fu Xuan and Jing Yuan that had been previously hiding

You both froze up,you werent worried about Jing Yuan,he was more laid back,rather you were worried abiut your mother finding out

But Yanqing was internally panicking about both of them

"What is the meaning of this?!" Fu Xuan almost sounded angry,but she had a mix of shock and anger in her tone

You obviously tried to nervously explain everything while also calming her down

But your mother just didnt understand,why him? How did you even fall for him? Didnt you hate him?

She definetly needed time to process this

If you had told her of your own accord she would have been calmer and more receptive to your explenation

But instead she took you by the hand and told you that you were going home with her

Not before Jing Yuan stopped her,he had his own fair share of questions for you two,but first,he had to calm your mother down from blowing up

Which didnt help much,but eventually Fu Xuan calmed down enough to listen to you two,she was okayish with the relationship,just upset you didnt tell her

Okay so first of all,he doesnt mind your clinginess at all,if something he finds it adorable,because he's lowkey clingy too

As for the touch starved part,it would take him awhile to notice that you're touch starved

And if you just told him straight up he would be like "oh okay" and make a mental note to be more touchy with you

But i dont think you're going to be touch starved while dating him any longer,because he literally thrives off of your touch,presence, and praise

Whenever you're around its like he has newfound motivation to keep going,to do better,for you

Whenever you praise him for anything,whether its his looks,swordsmanship,or sweet behaviour,he appreciates anything and everything

And most importantly and what we're here for,touch,hugs after thought training sessions,cuddles after long days or even weeks

Whenever he's exhausted he'll just snuggle with you,with a death grip around your waist and he'll just nap in order to recover his energy

After long days of training and duties he'll come and hug you tightly and just sit there for awhile

And knowing that you're touch starved he'll always make sure he holds your hand,or brings an arm over your waist or shoulder to keep you physically close to him in public

Kisses,definetly lots of them,he loves peppering your face in short and fast kisses while he cups your face

Speaking of which,he'll mindlessly cup your face and admire you,during naps,random staring sessions,or evem when you're doing absolutely nothing

And he also needs to physically feel you next to him or that he has an arm over you to feel safe

I feel like physical touch is his secondary love language

So as i said in the beggining you wont be touch starved for long,especially if he knows

You'd need the whole Luofu and the general to pry him away from cuddling with you

And about being clingy dont worry about it,he's just as clingy,he feels the need to constantly be in your presence

First thing in the morning that he thinks about is how he wants to see you again,to hug you again,to cup your face again,argh! he has to focus on his duties,but sneaking off to see you for abit wont hurt anyone right?

Becaue of the amount of time you two spend together its a daily occurence for the locals to see you two together to the point that its weird not seeing you two next to each other

Of course you can have your personal space if you need it,but otherwise he's spending all of his free time with you

And if your ever come to him asking him to hold you,your hand,or just give you any form of physical touch he's willing to comply,no matter who's watching ot if he's in the middle of training,you're his priority after all

Blade has a soft spot for you,and you need to know him abit better before realising that

He always tried so hard to be gentle with you despite the fact that the word 'gentle' was something far out of his vocabulary,but he still tried,because he loved you,and it hurt that he didnt know how to show you that properly

But the way his eyes would soften up whenever he saw you

Or the way his tense body would relax under your touch

Or how he'd kneel before you if you ever needed his help with anything,whether it was just putting on some kind of shoes or as grave as an injury

Its important to note that he would never kneel before somebody unless they were someone that had defeated him in battle,which you certainly had not done yet

How he'd protect you,not even a single scratch on your body

Kafka would constantly tease him about his gentle behaviour towards you,or as close to gentle as he can get

She would endlessly tease him about the way he'd speak in a gentler tone to you,even if it was barely noticable,or the way he would hold back his sharp tongue,choosing to use words he picked out more carefully

Giving you privileges he would never give to anyone else

Like getting piggy back rides from him or getting carried bridal style just because you asked,keep in mind he would never do this for anyone else even if they were dying

Or getting to drag him places that you want him to go to with you

Asking him to do things for you,even the most mundane of tasks,etc
