loke arc is really a good example of how peak the early fairy tail writing was. in the span of (2) episodes, loke's entire backstory is revealed, both his and lucy's characters are developed, we get new lore about celestial magic, fun filler scenes between the main cast and a good set-up for the tower of heaven arc. it's probably the shortest arc in the series, but remains an all-time fave because of this
