Ugggg I draw silly doodles from time to time and write terrible drabbles on the occasion...sometimes ill go crazy but thats the price one pays for not being lobotomized yet :/

I'd really prefer if people 18+ followed me since I tend to be raunchy at times but since its the internet i can't expect people to follow that rule...anyone at least like younger than 16 will be blocked. Reminder that TADC was not the first indie show in theaters, nor the first indie show shown internationally. that would be BFDI.

even if you don’t like the show, if you care at all about indie animation, talk about jacknjellify.

talk about the fact it’s run by two asians.

talk about the fact they don’t mistreat people working on the show.

talk about the fact it pioneered an entire genre of indie animation.

talk about the fact that they don’t let horrible people work on their projects.

i’m so serious, stop praising TADC, a show ran by a company that DOES mistreat workers, and HAS let horrible people work on their things.

praise indie shows that have shown they ARE good, and ran by good people. praise indie shows that ACTUALLY paved the way for other indie creators.

#while i dont 100% agree with some of the parts in this posts it is criminal how much object shows are swept under the rug in the indie space #i get it it may be annoying and childish and have a lot of unbearable fans but it played a way bigger hand at self-driven animation than #most people give credit for #i think TADC and BFDI should both share the spotlight at being impactful indie shows #hell even H*zbin H*otel (BARFFFF) should be given at least a liiiiiiiittle bit of credit for being hosted on Amazon Prime #dont ask me anything else about this topic cause i aint got the patience to argue more with indiebros #just realize that there's nuance to a lot of things regarding this subject
