When I started shipping them: Oh right back in 2013 when I read TID for the first time, but I really really got into them in 2016 and that’s when I made the @mag-will blog
My thoughts: Magnus was so in love with Will. it was ridiculous. He treated him and talked to him in the same way he treats Alec in TMI, he was completely mooning, even Woolsey called him out. And for Will, Magnus was the first person he actually opened up to since his family, he was the first friend he made after Jem, he also cared about Magnus so much and was so happy just to see him even years later, and Magnus too he never forgot Will, every shadowhunter guy he meets reminds him of Will, even Julian in q.oaad took him right to that first time Will went to his doorstep and that was over a hundred years ago. They would have been so great together, they are both caring and passionate and fiery, and I truly think if circumstances had been different they could have gotten together. They will always have that almost, what if, maybe feel to me and that’s why I am so in love with their dynamic.
What makes me happy about them: Every scene where they are together, how much they care for each other and how happy they were to just be in each other’s presence again even years after
What makes me sad about them: That Magnus would have to watch Will die too and suffer.
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: the fact that there are almost NO FANFIC AT ALL ABOUT THEM, COME ON PEOPLE WHY THIS
Things I look for in fanfic: Any new fics at all would be great
My wishlist: MORE FICS PLEASE but also I’ll always be a sucker for the cliche slow burn friends to lovers, where Will slowly figures out his sexuality and his feelings for Magnus and they get together
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Well, sticking to TID time, Will with Tessa or Jem (Or preferably Tessa and Jem) and Magnus with Woolsey, they also had such a cool dynamic, with that almost, what-if feel and I love them so much too.
My happily ever after for them: giant poly family where Jem never becomes a silent brother and Tessa Jem and Will are a triad and they share Will with Magnus and Will shares Magnus with Woolsey and they are all a big family that go on vacations together and make out sometimes and Magnus and Woolsey would be the cool uncles to W.essa and J.essa’s babies and after Will, Jem and Woolsey died Magnus and Tessa would still have each other and be family forever.
