                          But couldn’t he say that about himself now?

  But the fact that she said she once got a 60 on a test, what a laugh- and maybe that was just his perspective considering that every test that he ever took, he had gotten perfect, and there was no change at all, no matter what he did so there was no point in even trying… he hated it, he hated the way she always smiled even when the situation wasn’t even in favor of her. 

  He could feel the pain rushing though his body as nothing changes, everything stays the same and that’s how it always was- his voice was harsh, and yet it was so weak, he couldn’t even remember his voice that well, there was barely little time to use it- and that time was only in his dreams, how pathetic…. he inhaled slightly, averting his eyes from the other’s… or at least what he thought was looking her in the eyes… because in reality he couldn’t even look at her straight in them, it was too much for him, he would scream and wail if he tried to.

   ”So you have less than a 60 percent average of getting me to listen to you”

                                           ”Pathetic, isn’t it?”

  Her expression was rather sullen, as she asked him if anything had changed from the last time… rolling his eyes he gave a small exhale.. was she really that stupid? It was almost like she never got his point, ever- the point that he never wanted to talk to her again- he wanted her to leave him alone, so that he could just be left in peace…. he just wanted to be left alone, and these meetings with her suffocated him. 

                          “What did you expect, Ayano?”

  Eyes averting from her as he shifted his weight slightly- hissing bitterly under his breath. He couldn’t stand the sight of her as he waited for her to make the next move… if she wanted a conversation with him- she was going to have to drag him through it…. mostly because he didn’t want anything to do with her at this point. 

It's a truthful statement, although she doesn't add how sad it is, instead of anything else. 

Her words are soft and quiet. It's not like there's a need to raise her voice in a space that doesn't exist anymore. And it's not going to make a difference, because she's aware that he can hear her. He only chooses not to listen, and she can't blame him at all.

After all... there's nothing to listen to. She's transparent, voiceless and unimportant to him. At least right now.

She exhales lightly.

"...I expected-- always expect-- a little change, truth be told, but not with your thoughts about me." She feels it's necessary to be specific, since she already knows he won't ever stop despising her after all the damage she did to him.

"You know... with everything else. Your relations, your comfort, your views... when you take me away from everything else, has everything become a little more bearable?"

The answer is probably nothing but a dry 'no'.
