AM I AWAKE?

hello hi i'm lazy and tired and i've started reaching out to people for plots BUT here are some of my wanted connections to ease up the process !! just hmu and let me know if you want your character to fulfill any of these in particular pls !!

one - it was only three years ago when maeve turned all of her attention to camp and training, but when she did a new weapon was a must. she'd gone around with all sorts of them, always a bit more attracted to the spears and javelins from the armory, but her newfound fire required something a bit more personal. her spear is shorter than most, to fit in better with her height, and heavier so she can have more a blunt impact with it. made of celestial bronze, it shines in the sun as it moves in her hands. thin and molded all the way around, her hands know just where to stay and the end is sharp enough to cut paper (when she remembers to polish and take care of the spear). it was made by request and she'd have literally paid with everything she had and as many 'to ask' favours in order to get it done and tuned to perfection just for her and her hands. you got eternal gratitude and maeve does walk around telling everyone that if they want something well done, you're the person to go to. two - while she claims that the entire camp is her family and that relationships amongst demigods are in some level most likely incestuous (is she the 'is this allowed' vine at all couples? yes.) she has such a big heart and such a need to feel loved at all times. she's not one for subtlety so her emotions are always intense - maeve doesn't casually crush, she falls face first, full in, no regrets. you can see her giggle a little too much every time you talk, trying to be on your team during classes and practices, you can swear you've seen her just around the corner in your dreams sometimes. but has she ever said anything to you about it. oh well. three - it was mentioned in her biography how the creature that caused her brother's death was attracted not by her but by a much more powerful demigod. the two fought it off, but not in time to save diego and as much as she tried, she was never able to forgive them for it, no matter how little to blame they ruly were. four - you've never actually interacted with maeve outside of your dreams, but she walks into them often and at night, even if your conscious self forgets half of your conversations, you have developed quite a close and kind connection. she builds your dreams per request and sometimes both of you wish you could just stay there indefinitely. beneficent ( what she has to give, she throws freely, be it herself, her sould, her forgiveness or material possessions. )

whimsical ( half of maeve’s reality plays out inside her mind rather than physically and it often submits to her many whims and odd needs. she lives in her own world, her own way. )

- traits:

dogmatic ( sees the world through very personally colored glasses, regardless of if she’s wrong or right, and hardly anyone can sway her away from her beliefs. )

fickle ( her interests change with a heartbeat and she easily finds herself disattached from groups, movements, places and people. )

remorseful ( her mind and soul is filled with regrets, even those she knows cannot be made her personal burden. her overly enthusiastic behaviour leads her to place the fate of others in her own hands, to view it all as partly her responsability, and so much weighs on her conscience now. )

the demigod

godly parent: hypnos, the god of sleep any mortal family?: john muñoz, father, deceased. vanessa muñoz, mother. diego muñoz, brother, deceased.  abilities: sleep inducing, altering and meddling with memories but especially dream control, both of herself and others, and travelling into other’s dreams.  relationship w/ godly parent: a lot of quiet disappointment. she’s always disappointed, never surprised.  when/how was the camper claimed?: after three years of being in camp. she woke up a big part of the hermes’ cabin by passing through their dreams - meanhile, hypnos’ symbol hovered above her head.  any quests? or smaller missions?: this one depends on what i plot with more people but she definitely always was more keen on the smaller missions, so she could go out for just a bit and then return, and also so she could do more anyway ! what is their fatal flaw?: a need for independence. maeve wants to be able to claim that she can stand on her own two feet with no help, so she often takes on more than she can chew, which combined with her need to always do things her way and no other way, ends in disaster that she can only blame on herself.  what is their preferred weapon?: spears !! can be thrown or just pierce through something, so they’re versatile while still being a bit safer due to the range. also, she likes spinning them around.

favorites

favorite camp memory: her first ever capture the flag. it truly helped her feel like a part of the camp and it also poked at her competitiveness - capture th flag is still one of her favourite events at camp.  favorite food: pancakes covered in banana slices and honey, just like her dad used to make. also, sangria.  favorite color: lilac, especially if it’s glittery favorite animal: squirrels !! she just gets so happy seeing them around in trees.  favorite movie: inception, duh.  likes: swimming, buying gifts, buzzfeed
