general conventions:

all artists where i've posted multiple pieces by them are tagged (some "official" artists tagged repeatedly are gary gianni, magali villeneuve, sam hogg, denis maznev)

anything involving twow sample chapters is tagged "twow"

targaryen royalty with an epithet (e.g. "maegor the cruel," "good queen alysanne," "baelor breakspear" etc.) are tagged as that to avoid confusion with repeating names (rhaena daughter of aenys is tagged as both "rhaena the black bride" and "rhaena the lesbian"), dany’s mom is “queen rhaella targaryen”

all direwolves are tagged with their name and "the direwolf" (e.g. "summer the direwolf") except shaggydog, as he's pretty obvious

dany's dragons are tagged with just their names if they're relevant to the point of the post, if it's just the three of them as a collective in art or st it's just "dany's dragon children"

i tag each of the conquerors but also have "the conqueror trio" for all three of them or "conqueror sisters" for just rhaenys and visenya

each rhaenys targaryen or other repeat name is tagged with an epithet to avoid confusion ("rhaenys the conqueor" vs "rhaenys the queen who never was" for rhaenys, "daenerys of dorne" for daeron the good's sister, etc. -> jeyne westerling of the og series is just "jeyne westerling," but maegor's bride is "jeyne i westerling")

wildlings are tagged by their names if they have at least two (e.g. "tormund giantsbane" or "varamyr sixskins"), as "[X] the wildling" if not

catelyn and lysa are tagged as "catelyn tully stark" and "lysa tully arryn" so i can tag them in both tully stuff and stuff for their married houses

all dothraki are tagged as "[X] of the dothraki" except for drogo, who's tagged as "khal drogo"

people with both a given name and a nickname (e.g. "bloodraven" and "brynden rivers") are tagged as both

young griff is tagged as “young griff,” “aegon blackfyre,” “aegon vi targaryen,” (as is infant aegon), “faegon blackfyre,” and “faegon targaryen”

jaqen is tagged as both “jaqen h’ghar” and “the faceless man formerly known as jaqen” (tag from nobodysuspectsthebutterfly originally, i think?)

the maidenvault sisters are tagged individually as well as "maidenvault sisters"

groups of women like “the black brides,” "the six wives of maegor the cruel," “daughters of garth greenhand,” or “the mistresses of aegon the unworthy” have a collective tag, but i might feel like tagging some in particular

targaryens who went into service like vaegon or maegelle are tagged as all variations of their name, e.g. "maegelle targaryen," "septa maegelle," and "septa maegelle targaryen"

the sand snakes are all tagged individually unless it's a collective post about all of them as an entity, in which case it's "sand snakes"

great bastards characters are tagged as their names, "great bastards," but also "twoiaf" since that's where we have most of our info on them, but also "fire and/& blood" since volume two will eventually cover them
