Is Wild Wasp cancelled?
IT IS NOT!!
I have all the basics planned out I just need to find the time to sit down and pump out the pages.
My life has just been abysmally messy for the last few years, jumping from jobs and homes and such, you know how it is. I wanna be in a good stress-free headspace so I can truly dedicate my brainpower to telling a decent story.
Real talk it's been difficult to do any personal art at all due to one creative project I was hired for that paid.. very badly.. for the amount of work that I was doing. It really drained me, but I'm free of it now, I hope!! My finances and mental health suffered extremely for it.
I'll be back in action once I get a steady life rhythm going, I swear. This year I checked out both TCAF and VanCAF to give me some motivation to get back into the comics scene. It was definitely invigorating! I've always found indie comic peeps to be an inspirational bunch.
I CANNOT abandon Wild Wasp because the ideas I have for it are too fun. Completing it is a definite life goal of mine, so if you have the patience, I PROMISE I will Get Er Done.
