The hit got a small grunt to escape his nostrils. He laughs it off as he knew it wasn’t meant to hurt, a deep chuckle rumbling from him. A smile spreads on his own lips as he nuzzled her. He lets them go shortly after their embrace then nods in understanding.

“It’s fine. I understand that ya get busy.”

He shifts on his feet, thinking a moment.

“How ya been? Good I hope.”

[♞] They nuzzled him back lightly, a low rubble leaving them gently. As he lets go of them, they look up towards him; bringing their paw up to cup his face. A small grin making its way onto their muzzle as they nod.

A swirl of their own tea, studying Spearmint a moment before taking a gulp, the liquid cooled enough to suit them.

“You know, if you keep being charming like that, I’m going to have to kiss you senseless.”

Ssssiiipp. Uttered as casually as one might discuss the weather, and followed by another sip of tea, only the amused curl of their lips and the brightness of their eyes break their poker face and betray their humour.

[✨] Spearmint paused for a moment before his naturally pink cheeks seemed to turn a bit darker. A soft chuckle left them as they lightly scratched the side of their cheek at their compliment and FLIRT. After all, it wasn’t often someone met them beat for beat... It was kind of nice if they were honest.

“Charmin’ huh? That’s a first.”

Finishing off the last of their tea, they set their cup back down as they settled back on the couch; putting their hands behind their head as a grin made its way onto their lips. Opening one crimson eye to focus on their counterpart next to them.
