You never prayed? You never fasted? You were distant? You had relationships before marriage? You had addictions? You were stuck in the streets? You drank? you smoked? you clubbed? you had boyfriends? you chilled with girls? The world has shattered you? The world has broken you? You’ve tripped and fallen? Your mistakes are not greater then His mercy. Your sin is not greater than Allah’s forgiveness. Your shortcomings are not more encompassing than His gentleness. Your falling is not greater than His raising. An entire life of bad can be completelty wiped away through a sincere heart, a humble soul and a teary eye.

The greatest tragedy a soul can endure is to connect with another… and then be left alone once more. It’s like being invisible your whole life and finally finding someone who can see you and hear you just so they can look you in the eyes and say ‘good bye’. I don’t think that’s something you ever fully recover from… I think it’s something that always stays with you… Because if it were anyone else you could convince yourself that they never really knew you anyway, so the rejection was not really of you – just the limited parts of yourself you chose to show. But someone who sees into your soul and chooses to walk away… that shatters you to your very core.

“Sin generates more sins, and one leads to another until they overpower a man and he finds it difficult to repent from that. As one of the earlier generation said: One of the punishments of bad deeds is more bad deeds, and one of the rewards of good deeds is more good deeds.”
