"Trade secret!" She announced proudly with her hands on her hips. Her voice echoing within the pumpkin.
"It's a secret??" Sky asked, flabbergasted by the oddity of (y/n) actions. He's seen some oddities but putting pumpkins on one's head?
"What's with the face carved on it?" Twilight asked after straightening up.
"Tradition!"
"That answers nothing." The rancher deadpanned, Sky next to him rubbing his chin in perplexity.
"It answers everything silly, you just can't comprehend it yet."
"That isn't ominous."
"Wonderful!"
"I do have one particular question." Sky asked, hand raised as if waiting to be called upon.
"Yes Silly?"
"Well...how did you manage to make lights in there move as if they were your proper eyes?" Twilight perked at that and nodded.
"That's a good question."
(Y/n) tilted her head, a noise of amusement leaving the pumpkin.
"Those are my eyes silly!"
The two paused and stared at her for a long minute, waiting for some explanation. While she looked back at them with no answers.
The moment was quickly interrupted when rustling was heard from behind them, Sky and twilight turning towards the direction of the sound.
Their confusion grew as (y/n) emerged from the trees, sans pumpkin on her head.
She looked up and smiled at seeing them.
"There you are! Wild's finished making dinner and we're waiting on you two!"
"Wait, (y/n)? But-"
"Weren't you-"
The two quickly looked at each other and then back towards the one they had been speaking to, who was no longer in front of them.
In fact, she was nowhere to be found. They had not even heard her walk away. Which was impossible given the leaves and branches scattered on every inch of walking ground.
"Were you guys talking to someone?" The two looked back at (y/n), who merely looked curious.
"It's how I found you guys, I heard you two asking questions but I didn't hear anyone else answer back."
Sky and twilight tried to explain what just happened, but fumbling over each other's words.
"I-you-the pumpkin-"
"Pumpkin?"
"You were-" (y/n) tilted her head.
"You guys okay?" The two looked back at the spot where the not-(y/n) had been, at each other, and then back to her.
"N-nothing." Twilight said instead, smiling weakly.
Sky nodded, his own smile a bit strained. "Let's head back now, you said Wild finished dinner?"
(y/n) looked at them with questions in her eyes but accepted that it was probably something private and proceeded to inform them of tonight's dinner menu.
Sky and Twilight focused on her as they walked, both silently trying to wrap their heads on what they had experienced.
And had they looked back, they most certainly would have been caught off guard. .
There, floating crossed legged a few inches off the ground where it had been conversing with the two heroes before, was the one they had spoken to. She dressed and sounded exactly like (y/n), with the exception of the craved pumpkin on her head.
And there the stranger sat, waving goodbye at the trio's retreating backs. Her glowing eyes never straying from them until she lost sight of the trio amongst the branches.
The stranger's shoulders shook silently in laughter, a sudden brush of wind announced itself through the trees, and she faded away. Her glowing eyes lingering behind for a moment longer before they too faded.

Love the fact that this fandom harassed and bullied someone for making a grammatical mistake despite that fact that English is not their native language. I don’t know who needs to hear this but English is a hard language, even harder as a second language because of how specific certain spellings and grammars can get.
People are allowed to make mistakes, that’s how they grow. But there is never a good reasons to harass someone over a mistake. Message a creator in private if you have a question or concern and be respectful, that’s the best way to get to a resolution without hurting anyone further.
Lastly remember that this is a fan comic and there is no obligation from Jojo to continue making it, especially if she receives hate over it.

1) there is no algorithm for your dashboard. can't stress this enough. your dashboard is in chronological order of posts and reblogs from people you follow. "based on your likes!" is a joke and they removed that feature in a week
2) because of the lack of algorithm, likes do nothing. if you want more people to see a post, you have to reblog it so it goes on your follower's dashes
3) the vast majority of posts on a person's blog tend to be reblogs. think 90% or so. some of those will have that person commenting on it, and more will have tags
4) comments stay on reblog chains, while tags only show up on your reblog of that post. it's kind of like a whisper voice. in either case, both op and the person you reblogged from see that in their notifications
5) tags don't go in the body of the post. writing "staying in #lasvegas" won't make it appear in the las vegas tag, it'll just look weird
6) it's totally normal to reblog and post multiple things in one day. it's normal to reblog the same post twice in a row. it's normal to have 100 posts+reblogs in a day. post limit (the total number of original posts and reblogs) for a single day is 250. you heard me. 250. go hog fucking wild
7) it defaults to having a visible likes tab on your blog (but only on your blog, not the dashboard) but most people toggle it off

I am in love with the Mafia AU you have going on. I just also like the idea of the reader figuring out that she has a "stalker" and that the company she is working for is actually a front. I just stand the idea of a smart reader slowly working out these things and her just scrambling to figure out why they would want her for a fake position. IDK could get extra spicy with that idea
That's a clever idea! My aim will always be good endings. But I do love putting the boys through their paces. If they want a happy ending, they have to deal with a shit ton of nonsense.
(y/n) is naturally clever, but she stays in her lane, so she wouldn't actively look for information unless something happened or she gained info that made her decide. I suppose if she stumbles upon her 'boss' (one of Warriors' soldiers) talking about the 'job' and she finds out it was a front business, the chain better have a plan for the just in case.

I thought about this since first posting the idea cause you right. We stan smart (y/n). She is after all the lone sane braincell of this love group.
The divergence comes on WHEN she finds out about the shady shit. If its before she meets everyone and is just starting the job. Or if she has built relationships with all of them.
Path one, the beginning. She is cautious but based from fear. Cause the only things that come to mind with what a mafia would need from a broke college girl who survives on energy drinks and pure spite....are not good. But she is smart. She knows making a fuss or showing a sign that she knows means death. Sleeping with the fishes like in all the movies. You also get spice from her thinking that Time DID lie to her about the homework incident not being a big deal. Drama and broken trust right there. So she is quietly plotting on how to get the fuck out if here.
Cue the guys just knowing something is up and when pressrd she blurts out a half truth. She has a stalker. Not a lie but also something for them to get off her back. Cue the hilarity of mental breakdowns and panic trying to find out who the fuck the stalker is. Guys...guys it's you...your the stalker.
Now we come to path two. She knows these men. (Maybe not romantically yet but platoniclly at least.) They have never treated her poorly or asked anything of her other than very legal and proper tasks for the job. Hell if you could forget the illegal activity they would be the greatest most caring bosses in the world.
Again she is cautious. Less from fear and more...hesitation. She is at an impass. Its terrorfying and she is stuck on what they want from her. But that damn curiosity is eating her away. She is more likely to stay if she knows them...if only to get answers.

I hope everyone is proud of themselves for the witch hunt that’s been happening over the past few days. I will neither be surprised nor able to blame Jojo should she decide that the LU comic will no longer be continued after this whole debacle. The amount of hate that has been going on is ridiculous and not justified. The whole ordeal started from a mistake that has been fixed and apologized for, but sadly it seems that an apology was not what people actually wanted.
Everyone needs to remember that Jojo is a normal person not a corporation, celebrity, or influencer. She had an idea based off of a game series and decided to share it like many of us do with fanart or fanfictions,ie; she does not owe us anything and we are not entitled to her work.
Comics are extremely time consuming to make, more so then regular art or writing, and she isn’t doing the work to get compensation for it. This is FREE content. She’s making this comic because she wants to and because people liked the idea of nine different Links interacting with each other at the same time.
If you think harassing a creator for the free content that they put out is okay, you need to see a therapist. Harassing someone for a mistake is not okay, and bringing up mistakes/misconceptions from the past (I’ve see people going back to posts dated 4+years) is even worst.
There have also been people that apparently do not know what an immigrant is. Just because someone lives in the US and their spoken English is fine does not mean that they are from the US and spoken word does not correlate to writing abilities. People that have learned any second language will know that speaking is easier then reading/writing. I personally am able to talk in polish, but I am completely unable to write because there is a difference. English on its own is a hard language and people that do know it as a first language still make mistakes when writing.
If this was the last update I and probably many others will be saddened to see the comic end like this, regardless it’s completely understandable and justifiable if this is the end and Jojo does not feel comfortable enough to continue. I wish her all the best in the world because this was blown completely out of proportion and I can’t imagine the psychological harm that it has caused.
being rightfully upset about the way those with DID and systems were treated and bringing that to light and holding jojo accountable for it is a completely separate thing from being upset just because your headcanon was rejected. i think jojo has every right to have their own “canon” way of doing things in their art and comics. they make it for us but it is still theirs. that being said, it likely would have been more reasonable for jojo to offer an explanation for how they will be characterizing four and the colors but kinda making it a disclaimer? like “hey this is how it works in the comic and how I will be writing it but if you have other hcs that’s fine too”
as for the way they phrased their explanation, that’s another story entirely. i am not very knowledgeable on the subject myself so i don’t want to speak for those they offended, but it’s alright to still enjoy lu so long as we hold everyone—even the creator—accountable. <3

_The first on my randomized list was the one I had NO ideas for, but after thinking, I got down to the basics.
-Four is a hard worker, he works with his hands and is going to go for comfort over fashion. T-Shirts, Jeans and Boots. The Smith does like accessories if you can't tell by his ears. But he only likes stuff he himself makes. He originally had a lip ring but It kept making him look like he had a soul patch in my eyes no I nixed it.
-Though he treasures the custom hoodie Warriors designed and Wild ordered him.
-He still has his signature headband but wears it mostly when working.
-His eyes are multicolored and look super cool but I don't think you can see it in the picture.
-He has a little chest of custom jewelry he has made when inspiration (or Warriors) hits. He just waits for the day he can make his tribute to his Goddess. He will make her anything she wants this time. It's not a bribe to make her stay. Yes it is
-He misses working on traditional weapons but he appreciates the complexity of today's firearms and has learned to work, make and clean them with ease. Can break down a gun in seconds.
-The man bun...does it need an explanation? Look at it and tell me he doesn't look fine as hell?

"Look, I didn't leave cause I wanted to, unlike you, I have classes to attend on occasion."

"Classes. School. The thing the old man insisted we do in order to keep the feds off us? Remember?"
"Ah, fuck." Legend snorted at that, understanding that feeling.
"I honestly can't wait for you idiots to graduate." Warriors grumbled.
"Mm, me too." Legend grabbed his keys and turned off his bike.
"How long until you're back?" He nods to a few acquaintances from his previous classes.
"Just have to sit through one class, not like I have much to do here:" He would have tested out of all classes sooner, but that always led to some type of unwanted attention.
"Thank the gods." Warriors was heard muttering, the sound of paper being shuffled around made its way into Legend's ear.
He sighed as he entered the classroom, already feeling that horrid sense of boredom all students have that came with the idea of sitting for an hour listening to a teacher to drone on and on.
"I'm in class, got to go. Talk later." Warriors grunted and the call ended.
He snorted softly and scanned the room as he picked up the orientation packet that was on the teacher's desk for the students, noting the small amount of people there despite being close to the starting hour.
Eyeing the seats, he took his place in the far back, set on just passing the class chatting with the others. He knew the teacher and already expected they likely wouldn't be in the mood of doing much today anyway.
He sat down, leaning forward on the desk, resting his jaw on his palm.

Ugh. He was already annoyed by this.

He boredly watched his classmates slowly trickling in, already pushing them out of his mind after taking note of their faces.
Finally, the teacher walked into the room, five minutes before class was scheduled to start, announcing ahead of time that they would be watching a video today.
Dull, he should have asked for his schedule ahead of time to avoid this.

(He had only turned away for a moment)
It seemed that everyone that would be arriving had settled into their seats. Yet as the teacher opened their mouth to speak, the door burst open, just as the bell rang to start class.
(The first voice didn't mean anything to him. Not bothering to open his eyes to categorize his new classmate.)
"We're sorry for being late!"
The teacher looked at the at the clock in response. "Well you came on time so I'll let it slide since it's the first day."
He hears a sigh of relief.
(The second voice...it froze him, locking his body in place.)
"Saved by the bell, literally in this case."
"I don't you we would make it!"
"Yes yes, go find a seat girls." A brief period between one moment and the next but it was all it took.
He was unprepared for the way he heart started racing. How the world around him slowly faded out, only leaving her in his vision.
She was beautiful.
He couldn't stop gazing at her smile, couldn't stop silently begging her to look at him as she walked down each row, so he could have the honor of her smile directed at him.
And her laughter.
When had it been since he last heard such carefree laughter?
(When had it slowly become strained, yet still so genuine? When was it when they had foolishly taken it away?)
It scared him greatly to think that she could vanish from his sight again.
He couldn't stop looking at her, his already racing heart nearly aching with intensity as she walked through the class and sat in the seat in front of him.
The room immediately darkened as the teacher turned off the lights. The projector being the only source of light in the room.
He could feel the air shift as she moved, the way her scent drift to his nose.
He could only swallow back the choked sob that wanted to escape his lips.
He could never forget her scent. Yet it was as if he was experiencing it all over again.
Where had she been? Where had she BEEN?
They searched for so LONG. Searched for so long, so desperately. but it didn't matter. Because she was here. He would be in this room with her for a whole hour.
That thought froze him, a touch of ice stabbing through his joy.
Only an hour, one hour so close to her presence. But not close enough.
There was so much they needed to prepare for now that she was found, they had to ready the house for her arrival. Perhaps if he asked the captain-

...?..?
(It was with that thought that he realized, in the dim light in the darken room, his hand was stretched out, reaching right for her.)

...He couldn't do it.
(His hand wavered in it's place in the air.)
He couldn't subject her to that treatment, to the same cruelty that they subjected her with time and time again.
(He began to lower his hand.)
He wanted to experience the warmth of his hand held in hers. To have her smiles directed at him with warmth and care.
To have her close to his side, to never know another day without her kindness.
...But not like this...
He couldn't...
He couldn't hurt her like that again.
Never again.
(...He placed his trembling hand back on the his desk.)
His whole body trembled as a result of the action.
He tried to calm himself down but taking a deep breath.
It helped greatly.
Her scent was as he remembered. So delicate, but so very distinct.
It was comforting.
So very comforting that he didn't fight the gentle lull of sleep as it blanketed him, causing him to rest his head in his arms. Her scent wrapping around his senses and making him feel utterly safe.
...He missed it dearly...
Nothing could have hid the trembling shoulders as he silently sobbed in blissful relief.
He was so close to her. Could faintly hear her breathing and almost feel her warmth, it was blissfully intoxicating. To think, he had been upset that the first class of the school day had been an hour long.
But now, resting his head, taking in his beloved's scent, hearing her breathing.
He was upset it was only an hour.
He drifts off to sleep, so relaxed. So safe.

"...Hey...wake up."
When he awoke, he was groggy. (When was the last time he slept so deeply?) He groaned softly and slowly began to move, his back popping as he straightened up. He took in his surroundings. Noticing it was still dark, but light pouring from the doorway allowed him to remember where he was.
Oh right. Class.
He stretched, slowly allowing his memories to return, the haze of sleep making things sluggish.
He didn't understand how (y/n) dealt with this her whole life, he could barely have the few classes he had now.
That thought was enough to allow the memories to trickle back in—coming to class, and the sudden appearance of Her. Legend sucked in a breath and he quickly began scanning the room.
The seat in front of him was empty
Where was she?
Where was she?!??
He could feel himself begin to panic
How could he have relaxed so easily?!
Now that she was no longer in his sight, a sense of urgency and panic washed through him.
He had to find her. It couldn't have been a dream. He really saw her!! she had been there! How could he let his guard down so easily?!? He had enemies here! Could they have found her? He would have them killed.
So engrossed in his frenzied spiraling thoughts, that he didn't notice the shadow casted over him until a hand was waving in his face.
He flinched back as he was brought out of his thoughts. A brief sense of annoyance and anger passing thought at the thought of a stranger getting so close.
"Don't wanna be late for the next class buddy!"
He huffed and faced the individual who woke him up. Ready to close the conversation and immediately begin his search.
"Yes yes, thank you for waking me..." his voice died off, he felt his face go slack. His heart returning to that rapid pace as a face came into view, more familiar to him than his own.
"You must have been pretty tired, you slept through the whole class!" He never wanted to stop hearing her beautiful voice, how light and kind it was.
"Well...it's been a rough time." He rasped softly, flinching at his own voice.
"Oh?"
It was at that moment, the teacher decided to turn on the classroom lights.
"...Hey...you sure you're okay?" He blinked at her, bring his hand up and touching his face, drawing his hand back and seeing moisture on it.
...When did he start crying?
"You okay?" She looked like she wanted to wipe away his tear herself.
Oh...his beloved darling, gentle even to a supposed stranger.
"...y-yes..." his voice cracks again as he rubs his cheeks, hoping to save himself from further embarrassment.
"Hey.." she placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, his focus immediately zoning in on the physical contact and he repressed a shiver, her touch so delicate but oh so warm. It was scorching.
"Hey, it's alright. Everything's alright."

He wanted to hold her so much.
To do nothing more than cry within her arms, to let go. To apologize and repent over and over.
Because her words eased his soul more than she could possibly comprehend.
Because she was right.
She was right.
She was absolutely right.
Everything was alright now.
Because she was HERE. She was here, safe. With him. And soon, with all of them.
Their constant night terrors, their doubts, those horrid fears, they were all meaningless now.
There was no more fears of 'if' they would find her.
Of waking up one day and realizing her warmth was a cruel cruel dream.
Because she was here. She was right. here.
It made him want to grin so badly, but he repressed it. Not wanting to make her uncomfortable.
Every year he waited for her was now worth every second.
This moment was everything he could hope for, and that's what made it so much more agonizing when a voice grabbed their attention, breaking it.
"(y/n)! We're gonna be late!" His darling turned to the voice and smile.
"I'll be right there!" She looked back at him.
"Um," she starts awkwardly, "So...I know it won't seem much coming from a stranger, but everyone has hard days. So stay strong, okay?"
He nodded.
She smiles brightly at him. "You can do it!"
He wants to give into his urges right then and there, but he refused to, not again.
"Thank you." He says genuinely, love hidden behind his gratitude.
Her smile relaxes from it's anxious state, but stays as beautiful as always. With a small wave, she walks over to her acquaintance.
And he felt the absence of her presence almost instantly.
He watched her quietly as she walked up to her friend, muttering something that made the both of them laugh.
It was a spur of the moment decision, but almost without a thought, he pulled out his phone and snapped a photo as she turned to the door, able to catch her full image in the shot.
His heart sank as she slipped out of the room. Already feeling the anxious fear of her being out of his sight. The urge to scream and beg for her to return so intense that he almost didn't know what to do.
He merely took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down. Gathering his things, his thoughts drifted to the events that had taken place today.
He walked into the room expecting something dull, expecting things to be predictably boring.
And now he was walking out of the classroom with more joy and shiver inducing giddiness that he doubted anyone but the others could understand.
...The others...
He stared down at his phone blankly, gripping it tightly.
He should tell the others immediately. This wasn't something that could be hidden. If things had been different and someone else found her first, he would want to know to.
He should tell them....
...Then again...
He tapped out a single line, sending it with a large smirk.
'Meeting tonight.'
He slipped his phone back into his pocket and felt like whistling as he walked out of the school building, already counting the hours until they all gathered together.
He will most definitely tell them. But not just yet.
It was only a few hours, what's the harm? Let him enjoy this wonderful occasion by himself, he most certainly won't be able to after today,

I love that Legend is first. (I"m assuming this came first before Time.) It feels so right. He is the one that should be first cause he is most aware that the cycle of hurting her has to stop.
Legend has always felt the most self aware...very dishonest about it but very aware. He knows that the biggest thing she needs protection from is himself and his yandere tendencies and it shows. This is a big internal fight that he came out victorious on and it makes me so happy.
And dispite it steming from being an ass, waiting to tell the others *cough cough twilight wild and four*cough cough* was a smart move so they didnt show up to campus like the boys we love and fear them to be.
Why do I feel like that picture is now all of thier phone backgrounds ? And/or been enlarged, printed, and framed? Dorks. Luckily dorks are totally my type.
