Love of my life

I see you at the end of the aisle waiting

I’m waiting for the days we dreamed of

To be honest I don’t need much

Just a life where we don’t have to struggle

And just you by my side

A simple kind of happiness

Where we see each other when we wake up in the mornings

Where we drive out to get groceries

And sit in the hot water together at home, laughing

Even if we don’t go anywhere

I just need you with me

I hope with each word I write you feel it-
