1 / 29 {mine & Oprah's b-day} sooo 22 looks like the chin pimples 16 year-old you thought you wouldn't have to deal with after high school but NOPE your chin is their permanent home. 22 is being at peak familiarity with the song '22' by Taylor Swift. 22 is brand new, exciting, fresh, & full of little adventures (like biking over 6 miles without an end in sight...and then biking it all the way back). 22 is realizing you're closer to 30 than 10 & one year closer to being okay with that fact. 22 is hoping this age will be THE age that everything changes for the better. it's hard not to be thankful when bike rides, closed-off roads & an endless horizon of sky and ocean are 20 minutes from my front door 🚲🌊🌴 p.s. The road to Ft. Pickens is a long road. Very long. And the wind was fierce. Very fierce. I made it all the way down & back, but I am definitely riding in a car next time 😂 (at Pensacola Beach, Florida)
