Calm down jojo
youâre right, I am looking a little stiff here, I should try to relax
You call that âchillinâ?
Everyone knows the best way to relax is with a good book and a warm drink
I dunno, man,
sometimes I like just relaxing on my laptop
get on my level boys
Unfortunately to âget on your levelâ Iâd need a boat trip to the Mariana Trench and a pair of cinderblock shoes.
Thats gotta be the sickest burn ive ever read holy fuck
this post appears once every million years
I kept hoping someone else would one up me and Iâd have to escalate even further but nobody has.
oh my god, I have only seen this post on screenshots
this is A DREAM COMING TRUE
we know plankton and krabs have been playing poker together for 15 years
we also know this episode aired before the episode where pearl turned 16
while the non-continuity & non-chronological order of the series means that assuming that pearl was 15 in welcome to the chum bucket is a foolâs gamble - itâs reasonable enough that if there is an episode about her turning 16, her character was likely conceptualized as being 15 years old prior to that point. but either she was 15 or she was 16 in welcome to the chum bucket ⌠and either way, thatâs about as long as pearlâs been alive.
we also know that pearl is krabsâ biological daughter ⌠through a combination of facts ⌠and were given reason to believe that something happened to the mother of his child shortly after pearlâs birth that made him depressed. sheâs not around anymore and no longer apart of their lives in any way shape or form.
we also know plankton and krabs were childhood best friends, going on to have an on-again-off-again friendship for years prior to spongebob getting a job at the krusty krab ⌠and the two are shown to occasionally have moments where they truly, genuinely care about each other deep down, despite the rivalry âŚ
conclusion: plankton might have started playing poker with krabs to cheer him up after the death of his wife
oh thank god i thought you were going to say plankton was pearls mom

Fairlytale Scandinavian Green Roofs
Scandinavians are serious about their green roofs. Theyâve had them for a while now and it doesnât look like theyâre going anywhere. They even have a competition every year to determine the best green roof project in Scandinavia by the Scandinavian Green Roof Association! But there is a reason why Scandinavians like these green roofs so much⌠They are not only a beautiful feature for a house, but they also offer numerous social, environmental and financial benefits. They absorb rainwater, reduce winter heating costs, reduce summer air-conditioning costs, provide insulation, and are long lasting - just to name a few.

Jupiter in the Rearview Mirror
In the final minutes of a recent close flyby of Jupiter, NASAâs Juno spacecraft captured a departing view of the planetâs swirling southern hemisphere.
This color-enhanced image was taken at 7:13 p.m. PDT on Sept. 6, 2018 (10:13 p.m. EDT) as the spacecraft performed its 15th close flyby of Jupiter. At the time, Juno was about 55,600 miles (89,500 kilometers) from the planetâs cloud tops, above a southern latitude of approximately 75 degrees. Credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech/SwRI/MSSS/Gerald Eichstädt

I told Miyazaki I love the âgratuitous motionâ in his films; instead of every movement being dictated by the story, sometimes people will just sit for a moment, or they will sigh, or look in a running stream, or do something extra, not to advance the story but only to give the sense of time and place and who they are.
âWe have a word for that in Japanese,â he said. âItâs called ma. Emptiness. Itâs there intentionally.â
Is that like the âpillow wordsâ that separate phrases in Japanese poetry?
âI donât think itâs like the pillow word.â He clapped his hands three or four times. âThe time in between my clapping is ma. If you just have non-stop action with no breathing space at all, itâs just busyness, But if you take a moment, then the tension building in the film can grow into a wider dimension. If you just have constant tension at 80 degrees all the time you just get numb.â
Which helps explain why Miyazakiâs films are more absorbing and involving than the frantic cheerful action in a lot of American animation. I asked him to explain that a little more.
âThe people who make the movies are scared of silence, so they want to paper and plaster it over,â he said. âTheyâre worried that the audience will get bored. They might go up and get some popcorn.
But just because itâs 80 percent intense all the time doesnât mean the kids are going to bless you with their concentration. What really matters is the underlying emotionsâthat you never let go of those.
â Roger Ebert in conversation with Hiyao Miyazaki
My grandfather died and I inherited some of his clothes.
He was a farmer and he loved getting dressed up every year for the local fair and exhibiting his prize chickens. My grandmother would spend the entire year searching through thrift shops looking for silly neckties for him to wear, and she loved finding ones with chickens on them.
After a few decades of this, my grandfather had amassed several dozen neckties, each one with cartoonish images of chickens flying around, laying eggs, and doing other chicken things. I always complimented him on the newest addition to his collection.
When he died a couple of years ago, he bequeathed them to me in his will. When my grandmother handed me the bag full of them, my eyes welled with tears and I smiled thinking about my grandfather looking in the mirror and straightening his tie.
Why am I telling you all of this back story? Because the last time I tried to tell this to someone and I didnât give context, they thought it was weird that I was so excited about inheriting my dead grandfatherâs hen tie collection.
fuck you, OP
