What does it mean to be Crimson Guard? What makes them worthy to be titled âcrimsonâ? It is their commitment, their honor, and their will to continue fighting when others will not. For them family, friends, and comrades are the only souls that are meaningful to protect. To the very end, the Crimson Guard of the House of Ludlow will fight to preserve their people. Yes; guard. For one soul alone can not stand against the world alone, nor take it on single handed; that is where the bond of these comrades stands out.
From the front lines to the homeland, the Crimson Guard of the House of Ludlow are some of the finest men and women that we are proud to have watch over us. We shall always cherish them for they only do the same for us all.

Crimson Champions:
Combat, war, battle; the words that a warrior spends their life working for. In truth, it is the soldiers on the front lines of a war who are the champions of their cause. House Ludlow sees this in every single man and woman that pledges a strong arm, a sense of duty and an insatiable desire to protect and serve in their banners. Be they the Household Guard, the common man serving watch in the Vineyards, or the teams of elites; they are all champions in her eyes.
Crimson Seers:
In war and battle, those that plan and oversee the conflicts a thousand times in their mind, will always be the ones to emerge with sure victory. The House of Ludlow, and the Vineyards themselves would have long been burnt to the ground had it not been for the wise council of their seers and tacticians. Be they Magi of the Kirin Tor, Priests of the Holy Light, or Guardians of the Woodland Realms, each creed and mind has graced the halls with a shrewd genius, and deadly cunning for their House and cause.
Crimson Shades:
The thorns of a Rose are ever present to defend the beauty that resides above them. Like the thorns of that most beautiful flower, House of Ludlow employs those hidden dangers to hide in plain sight, and to protect any that dare harm a single petal. Shades act as the eyes and ears of The Crimson Guard, taking the role of spies, informants, and hired blades should the need ever arise.
What are the requirements for the Crimson Guard?
Members must be 18+Â
IC and OOC interview required.
Must have some knowledge of handling a sword and shield, bow and arrow, magic and spells, etc.
Fel-users are not prohibited within the ranks.
Military knowledge is recommended but not required.
Characters must have no criminal background. No exceptions.
The Crimson Assembly is expected and mandatory training that takes place bi-weekly. (Exception for OOC/IRL interference that is communicated prior to the event.)
Humans, Night Elves, Void Elves, Worgen, Dwarves, and Gnomes accepted.

Watching bullying happen and being privy to what the bully intends to do is just as bad as being the bully itself.
Do yourselves a favor if you ever see, hear, or read that someone you know or a friend is about to try and defame someone, slander them or attack them cowardly on an open, social media platform; do them the justice and yourself to tell them:Â âNo.â
Or better yet:Â âStop and think about what youâre doing.â
There is responsibility in all of us to play a part against bullying. When people let it happen and play a blind eye, youâre just as bad as the culprit.
1. Riding his motorcycle on a nice night, especially with his wife when theyâre not busy from work.
2. Shooting. He tries to get out and go shooting fairly often. He does keep some other guns in his home besides his pistol, which he keeps on him all the time.
3. Stargazing actually. It was one of those pastimes that he used to try and calm him after getting away from Gilneas.

If I could say everything, it would probably be that LOL. He never liked his parents. But, three things he wouldnât want his parents to know if they were still alive-
1. He has a son and theyâre not allowed to see him whatsoever. He knows how badly they treated him and Thad, and he would have wanted that AWAY from his child.
2. That he takes in criminals for a living. His parents were pretty criminal in what they did back in Gilneas for giving away Rebels, their own people to stay alive.
3. That he probably wishes he could have killed them instead of Thad, for selling Thad off as a slave when they were kids. Heâs pretty ruthless.

The sun had just begun to break through the top of the trees, indicating that the morning was soon coming to a start, and already it was turning out to be quite eventful as it were. A man could be seen running along the path through Elwynn Forest, just outside of the fences that lined the dirt path heading toward Goldshire. He could be seen looking back as he ran for dear life, the sound of a motorcycle revving as it went gunning after him. A sudden shot rang out in the morning air as a bullet made contact with the man that had been running, sending him toppling to the ground and grabbing his leg with a cry of pain. The motorcycle soon stopped and quick movements of feet could be heard as Mace was standing over him in but a moment.
A heavy boot nearly slammed down on top of the man that had been sent to the ground, bloody and almost broken apart, trying to squirm free of the weight that kept him down. In that moment, his nearly broken arm reached for the pistol beneath his shirt and tried to whip it around and aim it at the one who was trying to restrain him. With a quick kick from his other boot, Mace sent the gun flying across the dirt ground before his own revolverâs aim was set on him. âYou fuckinâ prick-â The man didnât even manage to get a word out before Mace pressed his foot right into the side of his face to keep it in the dirt. âOh, shut thâ fock up, you arsehole. You already knew this was cominâ when you decided to gut thaâ woman and burn her house down. Ya seem to remember âer kids were in it too, hmn?â He stowed his pistol away into the holster at his hip and pulled his foot away to reach down and grab the manâs arms. âCole Turnbough, yer arse is goinâ away for a long time, if noâ executed with thâ shite youâve done.â
He then pulled the pair of metal cuffs he had been given for the job and restrained the manâs wrists and arms behind his back. With ease, he grabbed hold and pulled the criminal to his feet, dragging him as the criminal struggled to walk. Mace leaned him over the back of his motorcycle to tie him down, acting as if it were the back of a horse. âYouâre that Longclaw bastard, ainât you? Heard ya got a real pretty wife, wouldnât mind tryinâ to get a piece of her-â A quick crack was heard as Maceâs fist made contact with his jaw, nearly breaking it before he finished tying him up. âShut yer fockinâ arse up. Sheâd gut you anâ I wouldnât have tâ do shite.â The man just groaned out with the pain, his neck nearly going limp as he hung off the back of the bike. Mace simply revved the engine again and took off back in the direction of Stormwind.
He pulled in front of the Stockades where some guards had been waiting, always eager to take in any criminals that were brought there. This day was no different as Mace got off his bike and pulled the asshole off it to drag him over to the pair. He held up the poster and handed him over with a nod from the older fellow. âNice job, Longclaw. A bit brutal, but, it worked. Your pay should be sent in by the end of the day.â The guard said with a curt nod of his head. Mace just gave a simple nod, feeling the exhaustion settle in his bones now. He had been up nearly all night hunting down the man he just turned in, and some sleep was earned at this point. He waved them off as he watched the guards bring the man down into the stocks and he made his turn off to his bike to ride through the city and toward the Dwarven District; his home.
He made sure to drive slowly as it was still early in the morning, and he wasnât sure if his wife and child were awake. Otherwise, he didnât really care for the other people that lived in the district. He pulled the bike up to the side of the house and turned it off, pulling the keys from the ignition and locking it up with a chain to a bar against the house. As he stood up, his hand pressed to the side of his head feeling a sudden pain shoot through his temple. It even caused him to lean up against the wall to find support, teeth gritting at the harsh pain that he felt. As he opened his eyes, he swore he even saw someone standing in front of him with a blade that was nearly pushed right into his face. It caused him to tumble to the ground, fingers rubbing his eyes before he opened them again and whatever figure had been there was gone. He had had some crazy dreams in the past of people trying to attack him. But, to see such a thing while awake shook him right to his core. He had never had it this bad, thinking it was only because of his exhaustion. He hadnât slept much in the past week or so because of either his bad dreams or getting up to help his wife with their newborn son. He just huffed out his breath, coming to stand as he heard a voice speak in the communicator in his ear. âMace? Mace, brother, can you hear me?â It was Timwei. Quite the surprise it was to hear from him.
He adjusted the ear piece to be able to hear the other man more clearly, speaking out as he leaned up against the side of his bike to speak, âYeah, Tim, I can hear ya. Thâ right hell ya callinâ me this early? Sunâs jusâ cominâ up.â His arms crossed over his chest as he listened to silence for a moment, then hearing Timâs voice speak once more. âI thought it best to speak to you when you may have been alone. Itâs about your wife.â Those words caused Maceâs heavy brows to furrow and he sighed out softly, rubbing his hand along the side of his temple. His eyes peered up to the high window where their bedroom was and where she was either tending to their son or sleeping. His voice hushed a bit as he responded. âWhat do you mean? Did somethinâ happen?â
Timweiâs voice was calm and collected as if there was nothing to worry about. He assured Mace in those next words, âI had tried to contact you a few days ago. But, no, no. Nothing happened. I had spoken with her a couple of days ago and she seemed quite out of it. I only ask that you keep an eye on her, yes?â A hand brushed along the front of his face and through his beard at those words, a bit of fear striking him. He simply relented and sighed, âAye⊠Iâve been doinâ thaâ. But, Iâll talk tâ her. Maybe see whatâs goinâ on.â Tim just chuckled softly in response to that, and he could imagine the man just nodding his head in agreement. âYes, my friend. Bring her and your son by soon, hm? Itâs been some time since we all got together. Iâm sure it would make my wife happy too. Talk to you again soon, yes?â Mace stood up and retrieved his keys from his pocket, moving toward the door of their house and unlocked it as he spoke. âAye. Talk tâ ya soon, Tim.â He moved inside and clicked off the earpiece, showing signs of obvious worry as he leaned against the door after closing it.
He made slow and quiet steps toward the stairs, climbing them and entering his room once at the top. He saw Sable laying in bed, fast asleep, as was Timothy in his crib. He removed his armor and set it against the closet. Thankfully he was not all that dirty as he climbed into bed with her, eyes looking over her sleeping form with great fear in them. Just what was it that Timwei had called for? He knew it was -something-, but, he was just not telling him. He pushed away his own problems, worrying over his wife instead, wanting to talk to her when he got the chance. Right now, he needed some sleep, at least a few hours in the morning as he leaned in against her back. He fell into his rest rather quickly, a slumber filled with not so pleasant dreams.

Resorting to last efforts in finding work, Amy had roamed the Stormwind streets for the better part of the day yesterday, and then roamed some more. All she had ran into was more bounty work; work she had no interest in. She even went to the Mage Quarter to look, though she couldnât imagine what she might find there, figuring work for someone like her would rest in the grittier parts of the capital such as Old Town or Dwarven District. But much to her delight, that is where she found Thadwyl Longclaw, standing Knight Commander for the Ludlow Vineyards, so he had told her.
Apparently the house was looking for bodies to put in their guard unit. He explained to her what he job entailed and all that went along with it. She agreed to it rather quickly, especially hearing at just how much training they did, hoping beyond hope it would keep her busy enough and out of the usual trouble she found herself in. They chatted for a few good hours, which surprised her greatly. She ended up learning that he was the brother of someone she considered her brother all those years ago in Gilneas during the Northgate Rebellion and the crumbling of their proud wall: Mace Longclaw. She was glad to hear that he was doing well for himself, parting from Thadwyl on the note she felt she knew him but she just couldnât remember him right off, even with how well she knew his brother.
The night found her in one tavern after the other, taking shots and staring at both beautiful women and handsome men, often times conversing with both at the same time. People seemed to like her, and take to her well - a quality she always had. The Pig and Whistle afforded a great time, meeting all sorts of people there that she was -certain- would be long time friends by the end of it all, and if not, they were worth meeting anyhow. All in all it was a good day and lead on into an even better night.
Now the rays of sun were poking through the window of her house, causing her eyes to come open softly, a hand coming up to rub down her face. She felt something odd though. There was the heat of another body beside of her, such causing her to smirk as the memories suddenly came flooding back about the woman she brought home with her. She glanced over her shoulder at the sleeping strangerâs form. She didnât even know her name, or at least she didnât remember it.Â
She was up and out of bed in no time, putting a note on the pillow for the lady when she woke, thanking her for the good time, but sending her on her way. It was time for another -hopefully- productive day. Life all around was good at the moment, that was for certain. Maybe this was the first step in controlling her anger.
