It's time for yet another post in my top faves series, which I started last year. So far, I've posted blogs for Park Jihoon, Zerobaseone, POW, and NCT Wish. Given that their recent comeback and Wanna One Go: Back To Base tv show stirred up some old memories, this one is lovingly dedicated to Wanna One.
First, abit of backstory. When Wanna One first came on the scene in 2017, I didn't really pay them all that much attention. I was a devoted one group/one member EXO fan at that time and I really only cared about them.
However, I will admit Kang Daniel did make me look twice ツ and both Park Jihoon's smile and Lai Kuanlin's eyes didn't go unnoticed either.
It wasn't until Spring Breeze, which was released in November 2018, that I became much more invested in Wanna One's music. Daniel was still my then favourite but Jihoon was definitely in my sights too. He always seemed to be shining brightly. I somehow knew that he was destined for bigger and greater success. Fast forward to 2026 and I'm no longer a one group/one member kinda girl, and Jihoon is most definitely shining bigger and greater ˙⋆✮
So, with the Wanna One reunion this past year and the release of Spring Breeze, Again I have renewed my love for their music and have been witness to their individual growth as performers and actors, as well as their unbreakable loyal bond. Anyways.......

Watching Wanna One Go: Back To Base actually made me see some of the members in a whole new light. I wasn't particularly interested in most of them before but I'd seen Hwang Minhyun and Ong Seong-wu as actors, and both have since become firm favourites too.
I don't wish to engage in any harmful or negative discourse their comeback has enflamed so I'm not adding any fuel anywhere. I enjoy their music and look forward to seeing what their futures hold.
